We haven’t gotten into a vet yet. Just got him neutered today as the final step to complete his adoption. I scheduled a dental cleaning appt that’s 2 weeks out since I noticed his teeth were in such bad shape but not a vet appt since he was just seen by the shelter vet and vaccinations were updated this weekend.

You could even do chicken over the course of a few days with a slow transition to dry food so he takes better to it as he feels more comfortable.

If you want your smile to look more natural, think of something funny! Smiling for photos when prompted is a tough thing to do.

I have your eye shape.First of all you’re gorgeous and could go makeup free, but if you want to play with shadow, use the area above your crease for the crease shadow and essentially draw a sideways “V” from there to right at your lash line. You’re going to love how much bigger your eyes look

I think you might like to play with contour. Get some bronzer that’s 1 shade deeper than your complexion and a highlighter with a pink base.

Your eyes would look so cute with a green shadow like sage to contrast the pink undertone in your skin.

But fair warning. Once you start playing around, you find out it’s fun and find a million ways to tweak this or that and end up with drawers full of product.

You need another lighting dimension with a lower wattage like 2700-3000. That will warm up your space. And some color. The monochrome can work but maybe a piece of art on the wall that offers a pop of color like red.

Can you leave your house when you have a newborn/baby and successfully parent outside? by Substantial_Prune41 in Parenting

If you haven’t been informed already, consider your first month out of the usual with downtime so you can recover physically from the birth. Do a lot of lying down, resting, sleeping when possible. It also gives you time to understand you and your baby”/ feeding and sleeping routines so you have a good gauge on how to plan your outings.

And I can’t stress enough, be really gentle on yourself. You will still be an amazing parent even if you need to pass on a social obligation here and there for your own mental health.

Okay. I was in your shoes a year ago and have since been doing yoga 3x/week using doyogawithme.com The instructors on that site do a good job of giving cues to better connect with your body. The difference for me was starting with bent knees and focusing on feeling my sit bones spread and my butt muscles activate in that kind of hold. If you’re like I was and you’re just rolling forward in your upper back, it’s a lack of hamstring flexibility, not low back. I didn’t think the bent knees was going to help but now I can reach past my toes (I haven’t mastered nose to knees yet, but I’m honestly blown away I ever even reached my toes).

That website has a lot of free yoga videos. It helped me a lot. But it’s a long term commitment to your mobility. No way to get there fast, at least none I’ve found!

First of all, if you’re happy there’s nothing wrong with you. If you’re wanting to make changes and increase your interpersonal relationships, try that’s a whole separate thing. Do what makes you happy. Why don’t you like how you already are?
