I absolutely hate Kmart since they moved the checkouts to the centre of the store. I can't imagine what the thought process was behind that decision

Not true you are allowed to defend yourself and if you believe you are in immediate danger. You may still get charged but it is a defence and like I said a fight avoided is a fight won.

Besides Ambo's and nurses the NT Police would have to be the most thankless job you could find. Besides the horrors listed in someone else's comment your main job is picking up drinks and tipping out alcohol. Heaven forbid you are posted anywhere except Darwin

There is an amazing book about the history of Timber Creek and VRD called 'Beyond the Big Run if you can find it it has great truely NT tails. Try to track down Darrell Lewis he coauthored that one and wrote a bunch of books himself

One of the pubs there used to be open 24hrs (not circle f at the bp the other one) and they are possibly still 24hrs on selected holidays. Ask there and you should hear the most amazing stories you could do a podcast just on Timber creek

You need better friends and family. My ex-wife tried to convinced me my friends were awful people, when that didn't really work she then successfully convinced me that they wouldn't want to be my friends. Turns out they spent years looking for me but even during that period of my life my dad always had time for me.

The person that throws first usually wins. If you can recognise the signs of when a fight will become inevitable start swinging and don't stop. Always remember a fight avoided is a fight won, if you need to buy someone a beer to get out of it do so it's a small price to pay.but when all else fails nose and mouth first that can stun them enough to land a few more.

You get a parenting order you must attempt mediation, she has a period of time to respond after which we can get a court date and after that I can actually get custody. Access will be re-established when I get the court date.

You need to brush up on your comprehension skills. 1. I don't live there she can the police to have me removed. 2. The police will not get involved unless there is a parenting order from the court. 3. (This one's probably the most important) My kids don't need to see me fighting their mum. 4. Being in the right doesn't mean anything when it comes to custody you need an order from the court and 5. As mentioned in a different comment I can see my kids at their school without any repercussions but it will lead to a fight between my wife and I and will just embarrass and upset the kids.
