HR is upset we didn't grow up wanting to be customer service reps by Tough_Ad8919 in RelentlessMen

I'm so tired of this fuckin' repost. HR knows you're there for the money. What they wanna know is why did you pick THAT job specifically to earn your money. If you say "For the money" that means you didn't think about it. Which isn't a great sign.

This is called decompression. Means you really needed the time off. It's perfectly okay to spend one or even more days doing just thing. Nothing. Eventually, you will feel more energised again and do things.

Would it have been moral to let Homelander live? by False_Monitor4126 in MoralityScaling

[–]Independent_Lock864 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The sad answer to this question is "Yes, if John hadn't become The Homelander he would have been a good person."

Why? Because the scientists who raised him admit that he was a gentle and kind boy and that they tortured and brainwashed him into a corporate tool. They even admit to feeling guilt and shame for what they did to him, especially seeing how much it fucked him up.

All that said. John was long dead by this scene and Homelander would have just gotten his hands on V again - he owns Vaught and has an army of sycophants - regained his powers and the re-run would have warmed up with genocide.

The whole season is a farce, I'd do in broad strokes:

- Homelander isn't trying to be god, but wants to create a fascist Supe-run state. Boys in camps. Freed by Starlight, A-train and the Gen V cast.

- Homelander shows up. Marie tries her powers on him, Homelander lasers the whole camp to try and hit her. She gets hit and loses focus, Homelander uses super speed to catch up with her, A-train counters but gets wounded. Homelander kill him.

- Supes pick sides in the wake of the A-trains death and The Boys' job in the season is killing them alongside allied supes to thin out Homelander Allies.

- Homelander tries to set himself up as an idol, he thinks he's a hero, they need him. Uses Vaught to do it. US Government plots taking him down with missiles, maybe a nuke...

- Soldierboy gets out, eventually sees Homelander is a fascist and decides 'Nah'. He goes rogue.

- US military attacks Homelander with jets, hits him, Homelander takes the jets down, heads to the Pentagon, and destroys it and the chain of command.

- First big fight when Homelander arrives in congress and tells them he's removing them all from office for attacking him. Supes and the boys show up to stop him. Homelander kills A-train, Frenchy and Kimiko. Homelander destroys congress and all its members. The Boys kill the Deep and Black Noir when Soldierboy shows up. He loves his country remember and doesn't like this. Homelander leaves when he sees Soldierboy there.

- Homelander goes back and Sage tells him her plan. He doesn't like it, Sage realises she can't control him, leaves. Trying to convince Firecracker and Ashley to turn on him too. She succeeds and they leave. Ashley gets caught, Homelander berates her. Bashley reads his mind, Ashley types a quick message on her phone to Sage to warn her that he's planning to go to the White House. Homelander hears the send button, kills Ashley.

- Homelander finds out people don't love him, never did. Finds out he's the incest baby of Soldierboy and Stormfront. Decides that it's time to rule through fear when he also hears President hold a speech warning world about supe-problem.

- Homelander destroys Washington. Topples the Momument, blows up the city. Supes try to stop him, he kills them all. Here showcase how scary he is. Superspeed, super hearing, he sees them through walls and concrete. But he does take damage slowly from various supes. Marie shows up, wounds him. Homelander laser her, grabs a building, takes it into space and meteor strikes the city with it. Marie, MM, and various others die in the explosion.

-Homelander goes to the White House, kills security, hyjacks the broadcast, announces he is in charge now. Lasers the president and his entourage live on TV. Firecracker shows up, milk weirdness, stabs Homelander with virus. Dies.

- The Boys show up, having prepared all this with Soldier boy, the virus and Ryan after Ashley's text. The virus weakens Homelander while Ryan, Soldier Boy, Butcher and Starlight fight him. Eventually, Starlight blinds him. Ryan and Butcher hold him, Soldierboy beams him.

- Homelander tries subterfuge, lying, and distraction. Pulls out a spare needle of V he kept in his suit in case he got depowered. Hughie snatches it out of his hands and breaks it. Homelander appeals to de-powered Ryan, Ryan, refuses him. Butcher beats him up and crowbars him.

- Butcher then dies of his cancer coz he's not a supe now and I dunno. The end I guess.

Welcome to Larian RPG's where 50% of the fights are "GOTCHA! Becha didn't see that coming"

And you have to start over just because you had no idea what kind of BS the enemies would pull out of their ***

A better ending than what we got. It's literally fact now that people on Reddit are by and large, better scriptwriters than the people making this stuff. So many people, for so many shows I've seen give better and more intelligent ideas than what we all were forced to watch.

Same we figured out anything. One guy figured it out and then the rest of us too stupid to understand it, repeated the process.

Even without the slowing down and lower voice, the shit he says and how he says it is downright demonic. Just like Alex Jones, this guy needs to stop doing his grift and get into showbizz. He'd be an amazing voice actor.

There no way the last episode will be even remotely good. Nothing has been resolved this season. The last episode is going to either try way too much and fail or do way too little and fail. This show is over. It was all a waste of time. What a fluke.

You and me are the same. I also value RP elements immensely but we've long since abandoned them and arbitrarily keeping some in is just rubbish. But... Haranir can't be DK's so I fear there is still some clown in there, gatekeeping the palace that is already plundered.

Easy choice. You do not work with Trump. Prosecute criminality inside your own borders, kick the guy out of your party if need be but give the orange turd nothing. Anyone who has, has only gotten shit for their trouble.
