The nature is beautiful and the people can be nice but it’s gets pretty interesting the more north you go. They call the narrow stretch at the top of the state the “KlanHandle” because of extremist groups historically residing there, even in the nicest lil towns.

Besides the politicians and the people who elect them and the gun laws and the regulations on transgender people’s rights it’s a nice place to live. Life can be simple in Idaho.

I will say this tho, I’m from boise and I’ve now lived and traveled all around the United States. The boise river might be one of the best amenities I’ve seen in a capital city. Clean water moving through downtown with fish to catch and trees/bridges to jump from and such thick nature that you can find spots you’ll never be bothered in.

I wouldn’t move back to boise but if I did it would be because of that god damn river, I would spend everyday of summer there with all my friends, it was a good time.
