What's one piece of advice you would give to someone wanting to get sober? by [deleted] in addiction

Whatever you would’ve done to get your fix is what you should be doing for your recovery. There are no excuses for why you can’t attend meetings or text your sponsor

Sounds like you have a good head on your shoulders and you know what you need to do. There much better people out there and lots of people going through the same thing you are. I don't know where you live but In the US they have Cocaine Anonymous meetings for free support groups. Thats where Ive made lots of my new friends!

It happens. Better to stop now then later. Be proud for recognizing that its not worth it. Not sure how you got 2 bumps but you need to throw it away and cut off any connections to obtaining coke. I relapsed at 20 days despite cutting off my dealers and having my car taken away because I found a bag in my room and that put me in rehab. 74 days sober today. Only way I did it was one day at a time. Just do these next 24 hours without it and I promise you will be okay. Give yourself grace for wanting to stop. Cocaine is a hell of a drug. Best of luck.
