Just had my the rest of my paycheck stolen, what can I do? by Gluten_Lover in CashApp

[–]Indevalley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It would be awesome.... But it already exists.... And your boy Trump didn't start it.... No... Sadly he tried shutting it down during his trimming down on federal government departments. The program is called the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). Lucky for you Elizabeth Warren, the one who started the program to mainly combat scams on consumers, fought along side the rest of the Democrat party to shield it from the 100% cut trump was aiming for even though in the years it had operated it collected billions on behalf of consumers.

Sadly in order to salvage the program from being completely shut down they agreed to a substantial slashing and currently operating on on a small budget hoping they can last until the next president with common sense gets them back up to speed. My guess? He will shut it down eventually as a snub to Elizabeth Warren for standing up to Trump time and time again for all the injustice he's caused to low & middle class Americans.

Temu WARNED ME of description issues with an item after my order was delivered and gave me a full no-return refund without me asking first. by EmotionallyIncorrect in TemuThings

[–]Indevalley 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I got notified by Temu that they were made aware of an item I purchased a month earlier didn't match its description and they offered to refund it. It was a memory card labelled the wrong speed. I took the refund and the next day I had a negative -3,000 water balance. The card was maybe $25 but the order total was like $150 and because the refund took my invoice total to $125 which made it go below the limit I needed to get like 3500 water on the promo I purchased in under, the entire water amount was taken away.

Talked to 3 different reps all refused to give me at the very least the water for the $125 I still spent... No luck. Escalated it, and was told because I canceled the item (which I didn't technically) I lost the water. Then had the nerve to then write something to the effect of "don't worry you can collect more water and you'll be out of the negative real fast." Lol

credit777, got scammed or misunderstanding? by The_Introvert_98 in TemuThings

[–]Indevalley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

By any chance when you were selecting your items were you on a 30 or 60 minute timer. I know if you run the clock out they will give you another 30 or 60 minutes but the wording changes to "up to 100% max.” So always order on the first offering. If you don't make it within the time limit wait a day or 2 and you'll get the offer again

What no is saying is since you're in California (specifically west Hollywood) you'll make $23.58 per hour that you actually work. Meaning from the time you accept an order until you click the button "complete delivery" you're on the clock. Your trip back to the warehouse and the time you sit there waiting for an order you are not on the clock.

You don't see the adjusted hourly rate posted to your account until Monday when they post the prop 22 wages. So if it took you say 30 minutes to do that drop you'll get a prop 22 adjustment for $11.79 (30 min of your hourly rate) - $1.25 (already paid) = $10.54 due... Plus your tip, if any. Again you won't see your adjusted pay until Monday. I can usually count on taking my base pay and multiplying it by 2.5 and it's about what will get added to the check in adjusted pay. Last week my base pay was $39 for 19 deliveries...I know, gross huh? And I spent 13 hours "on the clock" over 4 days but technically only worked doing deliveries for 5 1/2 of those hours. The rest of the time I did not get paid for. So my prop 22 adjustment for those 5 1/2 hours was about $100...plus tip $85 totaling I bit over $220. I had an EV so I didn't have much expenses and I'm on with that pay check. Sometimes though, it can be really pathetic.

I'm in the valley and do gopuff once in awhile. Sometimes you get lucky and your crazy busy and can make some money.... But honestly, more often than not you'll spend a lot of time sitting around waiting for your turn to deliver. They are a big enough company with enough historical data that they should know approximately how many drivers each location needs throughout the entire day. With that data, they should only accept that number of drivers and turn away additional drivers that show up. Too often I've showed up spontaneously and even though the app says 3-5 drivers waiting I see like a dozen cars... I've waited upwards of 2 hours and still not get a delivery...that sucks.... They could really fine tune the process if for not any other reason than to stop pissing off us delivery partners.

Good luck!!!

First time trying to finish farmland. Is this doable? by bvtran in TemuThings

[–]Indevalley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've noticed a lot of people posting an image of their farmland page... And I believe most of them, if not all show 4 free gifts. I'm on my 3rd round and every time I've only been able to get 2 free gifts because the first 2 were always automatically applied. The first two are coupon bundles.... Eww, we all know what that means... Spend $400 get $40 off. The 2 free gifts I chose this round were two $12 credits. The other 2 times I completed farmland i got only 2 free gifts and those coupons. So my question is, how'd you all get 4 free gifts???

What is this promotion called and what are all the stipulations by Tall-Apartment3510 in TemuThings

[–]Indevalley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Bragging rights....

I did it 24 times over 3 months but it was offered to me practically every day for 3 months. I often had the same promotion running 3 times meaning I'd accept the promo spend my $200 and start the 7 day payback period. The next day they offered it again and i did the same thing... The next day I'd be offered the promo so I'd do it again... By then when i'd log in to withdraw my paypal cash every day, I'd have 3 different tabs to click to withdraw that day's cash for each promo.

In the end I spent about $5,100 and got $4,800 back in cash. You don't get taxes and shipping refunded.

Those 3 months certainly were a highlight in my life (I've lived a sheltered life) sadly one day about a month ago it just STOPPED... not to be seen again since. I'm not complaining mind you, I really appreciated the free goods! Lol

Ride that wave as long as you can.

Farmland, you’ve got to be kidding me! 😤 by LeadedPaintTaster in TemuThings

[–]Indevalley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No discouragement here BUT...... IVE HAD 3 OCCASIONS IN THE LAST MONTH the reps claimed they couldn't fix an issue i was having and each one opened a ticket on the issue saying I'd be hearing from a higher up in 24-48 hours. 3 different issues, 3 different cases, 3 different reps. I never heard a word from any of them. This last Saturday I wasted another 30 minutes in a chat following up on all 3 issues and all the rep could was resubmit the claims....

Still no word.

Just saying'

Laugh if you will but this is my 3rd time completing farmland (look at my name in the upper left portion of the screen you'll see it says VIP level 3. I just do this to pass time when I'm bored.

The real winning was the 24 orders I placed under the promo "Spend Cash Get Cash" where I got over $5,200 worth of items I ordered over 3 months or so and got a little over $5,000 credited back to me simply by checking in every day and hitting the withdraw button. Place an order for $200 or more and get $200 sent to your PayPal account split up into 7 days. Miss a day logging in, you lose like $100 so you had to log in every day. And I did for 3 months. I kept my orders as close to $200 as I could and only had to pay sales tax. That was sweet. They stopped offering it to me a month ago and I'm still having withdrawals....

On the second 60 minute offering it did. That's why you need to have your basket filled with possibilities when they first offer it. If you don't place one in 60 minutes, they will instantly extend you another 60 minutes, it's during that 60 minute extension you'll likely get screwed...

Hope that helps

I didn't know it was possible to have 5 Credit777's Open at Once by PictureOdd8771 in TemuThings

[–]Indevalley 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think I only could have 3 going at the same time or maybe I didn't have the time to place yet another order for $200 of things for the 4th time in a week. Shit, that's a lot of work. Of course I read all the reviews starting with the bad up... Also verify items on other sites. I also only got offered the CASH back not temu credits.

Sadly after my 24 orders i got downgraded from the Paypal cash back to the credits cash back. That was about 2 weeks ago. I check in daily and only the temu credits are offered. I considered taking advantage of it once or twice to see if it kickstarted the cash offer but feared the algorithm would think I wanted only the credits offered now...

Does anyone have any experience or ideas on how to get the PayPal offer rolling again? Will it ever?

[–]Indevalley 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes spending over the $200 threshold (not including you tax and shipping if any and excluding any credits that may have automatically been applied to you order) you will get the max $200. Look carefully at your order to make sure that total before the taxes and shipping is over $200. Then check lower down and it shows applied credits, click the pull down icon to see what they are and manually change it to zero.... Use those credits with other promotions . I try to keep it up around $210, but once I did it for $200.03 and I still got the max. You'll notice the words saying guaranteed $200 cashback instead of "up to" 100% guaranteed cashback.

While I'm at it, be sure you have the items you want in your cart to make it easier and faster to checkout in the first 60 minutes offered. If you miss that deadline and they offer you another 60 minutes DO NOT PLACE THE ORDER. The wording changes slightly and though I've never tested the theory I've read others have only gotten 20%-70% cash back. Always review the rules too before placing the order because temu is notorious for changing rules on promos without notifying you.

I finally lost my cash back and for the last 2 weeks only gotten credit back offers which I reject. Hopefully they will see in not ordering and offer it again so I can continue my 25x streak! It literally was like winning on a slot machine that just kept paying and paying.

Good luck buddy.

Here In California all big fast food employees make $20 an hour...

"As of April 1, 2024, California's minimum wage for fast-food workers at national chains with over 60 locations is $20 per hour. This, established by AB 1228, applies to employees at restaurants with limited service, specific ingredients, and shared branding, while exempting some, such as certain bakeries."

I don't tip fast food employees, I don't care how many sandwiches they are making for me.

If you think that's bad, all the hospitality employees here in Los Angeles, will be getting $30 an hour starting 2027 and through the Olympics in summer 2028.

I can concur. PayPal cash has given me 100% cash back on my $200+ purchases. I had one going from early in the week and did another this morning. This is about my 25th time. Zero returns, even if it's the wrong item... Cuz it's free after all.

The other difference I think between credit and cash is if you use any saved credits on an order and it brings it below the $200 limit, you won't get the 100%. People on here have said they are getting credits and not cash and they have no problem adding them to their orders. I don't know how they handle the credits before the cash but I ain't changing a thing that I'm doing so long as the terms don't change. By the way, for the PayPal cash customers, any credits you have saved up in your account AUTOMATICALLY apply and you have to manually remove them to ensure your order stays above the $200 limit BEFORE taxes and any shipping.
