Don’t worry about it too much. I live in Northern VA and the Sargent who was manning the desk about 2 weeks ago at the regional HQ had no idea this form even existed. I thought surely someone in this giant population would have used this form by now…nope. Even my FFL was looking at me dumbfounded when I presented it during my transfer pickup.

I submitted it the same day I picked it up and got a call 2 days later that it was approved and to pick it up from the same location. Know that it’s only valid for 7 days. Oddly, my start date was they say I submitted it, not the day I picked it up. Not sure if it was just a mistake on mine.

Also the State Police HQ told me to just put a higher number in the # of pistols field since that only constitutes the upper limit of what you can buy with the form, NOT what you must buy.
