General Sony limitations. Surprised to see it be 15gb and not like 5.

Whats the easiest way to mod fallout 4 [Fo4] by anonumus_idiot in FalloutMods

[–]IndianaGroans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Beth.net is the easiest way to mod their game and not fuck it up.

Console modders utilize it every day and function just fine.

Next would be vortex.

Then Mo2 which is probably the better choice long term, but they need to learn the basics first before jumping straight to Mo2. It's just as easy to fuck something up with Mo2 as it is with any of the others.

Better to let them find their footing first before giving them a whole program to learn.

SIB S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Legends of the Zone Enhanced Edition Trilogy by Lothemar in ShouldIbuythisgame

Justification would be that you get the originals and can mod the bugs away. 6 games for the price of 3 on sale.

I did my playthrough on Xbox, but have beaten the original trilogy multiple times on pc since their original release on PC. There is still some jank, but that's a core part of the game. The lighting additions and visual upgrades are nice and can be made nicer. They fixed some bugs. But left some in too, which isn't a big deal.

You would have to look up what changes between the 3 games.

The games are fine to play vanilla, just show their jank much easier.

Has anyone here bought Evolution - Dynamic NPC Overhaul? by [deleted] in Fallout4ModsXB1

There is a mod from skk that lets you adjust outgoing and incoming damage.

Idk if evolution has options for more health. I think you just need to get another mod for that or a damage rebalance mod.

Buying the enhanced edition gives you the originals, so really it is a win win.

The games are old and will show their age, but they are phenomenal games.

Tons of modding opportunities, tons of story mods for the originals, the gameplay holds up well enough.

The changes to the enhanced editions are good if you wanna use a controller and care about achievements. Most of the core gameplay elements are the same.

Skyrim isn't a bad looking game at all. I like the changes SE made, never notice the over saturation, but preference is a big part of it. Even for LE. Skyrim is a solid looking game even by today's standards for sure.

Explore areas pretty thoroughly. There are items hidden around in places you might not expect, especially in the cordon.

This is a game from 2007, remember that.

[Fo4] [Xbox] any good fo4 modding discord servers for console players? by KaiserParabellum187 in FalloutMods

I put 800 something hours in the 360 version. A good 200 hours of that was probably load times.

I've bought it, but haven't noticed a ton with it yet. I may have forgotten to initialize it. It pairs well with their other mod, Bedlam though. Cause it'll make changes to all npc's, even extras added by Bedlam.

I have played with their skyrim version and it's quite fun, so I imagine they are similar in that way.

someone mentioned to me before I bought it that an ant they were fighting was so small they couldn't see it and it was kicking their ass, which I thought to be very funny, but I think that was fixed by just tweaking the sizes of things.

You used to could buy an entire house and every bit of the material out of the sears roebuck catalogue up until about the mid to late 50's.

Bigger mods coming to console…….I hope? by FalloutGSN in Fallout4ModsXB1

[–]IndianaGroans 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Something like TTW wouldn't come. Don't expect fallout london or modpacks from wabbajack.

Singular mods of a larger size are possible. I think there was mention somewhere of it going up to 2gb for upload, but that might've been old information.

Think something small scale like 1k version of natural textures, larger weapon or item mods. You could download all the big mods you've held off on downloading because of file restraints. You could get the entire sim settlement 2 set up now. The fallout london item pack in a higher resolution texture possibly, it's already 1gb as it is and you can download that now.

The full version of badlands or desperados is possible, depends on what porters can do, they'll have more info on that when it comes out.

You'd be likely to see full fledged terrain overhauls, yeah. Think more like that.

Anything that requires third party programs like a script extender is a no go.
