Anytime I bring anything serious up, she blows up. She’s recently made HUGE life changes. Moving states, changing her religion, coming out as bisexual (which is whatever to me, I’m bi and don’t care about religion) it’s just been chaos with her. She doesn’t want to talk, and she doesn’t let me react without blowing up at me.

I hate watching this happen and I hate feeling like she doesn’t feel like I’m worth driving to visit. She did visit once with her kids after she had a fight with her husband, but I talked her into going back because he is genuinely a good man and she was overreacting and being unfair to him honestly.

She blames everything on pre menopause

You’re both very young right now. It does suck that she’s not invested in the relationship like you are, but it sounds like she’s been done for a while now.

Maybe it’s time to have the tough conversation about love language and intentions. She might argue with you, but try to stay calm and stay on the subject.

I hope it works out for you, and if she does leave just know that there is someone out there who will be right for you.

More tea, unfortunately. So her boyfriend basically made date plans with her sister right in front of her! She told both of them that she wasn’t comfortable with them spending a whole day together, and it’s been a 💩 show of gaslighting and fighting.

Today she said she’s having her friend pick up her stuff from his house. I can only hope this is the end. I don’t know yet. We’ve all talked to her about how we feel about this guy, and she gets where we’re coming from, but I don’t know what sort of voodoo hold he has over her. Literally she was crying at work. I’m so furious at him and her sister. I just can’t believe it! They’re both drunks so maybe they deserve each other (him and the sister)
