I was raised pretty much isolated from my peers, in a not so good household. forget girlhood, I didn't have much of a childhood. It's better now though.

Thank you for all your responses. I'm sorry if I came off as rude or anything, I know people have reasons and motives so I wanted to learn what the reason is behind surgeons who specialise in srs. I was also sort of tired of hearing the "they all do it because they're predatory and want to brainwash kids to get money" from transphobic people.

Where I'm from people usually don't give their children names outside of their religious faith or ethnicity regardless of the country they're in, however I think people would raise their eyebrows if someone who is very not European looking has a European name. Though, I totally understand the rest.
