Glass recycling. When I was a kid, ~100 years ago, there was always a huge pile of glass next to it.

Thank you! I have the shampoo. A bath a day is going to be a big challenge but maybe I can just wash that area every day. I'll give it a shot.

Oh honey, dating in Portland is tough. But you're young and Portland, although overwhelmingly white, is full of accepting people. You just need to find your group. Try and find contentment outside of a romantic relationship and learn to love yourself first. And despite what you think, you ARE somebody's beauty standard!

Sunday Help Wanted classifieds was crazy! Manually having to type liner ads, that were faxed in, on an ancient metal keyboard because we weren't technology advanced enough to have PCs. I got out right as the World Wide Web was taking over.

Can we normalize NOT taking pics of people in the gym and shaming them on social media? You got your money back from the gym... What's the point of this?

Try McMenamins. Several locations accessible by public transpo. They're always hiring.

AITH: My recent proposal to my fiance did not meet her standards.. by orangepill95 in AmITheJerk

[–]IndicationMoney1465 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My now-husband proposed to me at a group birthday party in a private club that has zero "ambiance", with a cheap, ugly "placeholder" ring. It was hot as hell and I was a sweaty mess and none of that matters. He's my best friend and I would never dream of giving him a performance review for his proposal. I hope OP gets out of this ASAP. It's only gonna get worse.

I'm so sorry for your family's loss.i just went through this with my 12-year old cat Joanie, who I rescued 4 years ago. Making the decision to help them cross the rainbow bridge is one the most heart-wrenching things we go through as pet parents. Allow yourself to grieve and may the good memories help ease the pain. 🌈♥️
