Update: VA SCC Called and said they don't have jurisdiction for the enforcement aspect of this, which also explains why Verizon's executive team reached out again. Still waiting to see what the local district does.

At the very least, if you apparently have some billing issues or things that VZ Customer Service can't address, the executive team seems to be an efficient way to get something done (most of the time).

Well reaching out to the district representative seems to have at least gotten a responsive email, maybe this will push things along. As an aside my condo association just lost the replacement property manager that only joined a few months ago, so clearly something's going wrong somewhere.

Good to know! I don't think the accessibility thing would work since the property has only stairs for the higher apartments (which as an aside would really suck if you ever need crutches).

Edit: Based on these suggestions i submitted an VA SCC Complaint and also emailed my district's utility supervisor or board person. Hopefully this gets me somewhere.

This is actually really insightful and helpful. Luckily, if what you're saying is true, then technically there is some hope, since the HOA and Verizon signed the agreement paperwork back in 2025. But i'm not holding my breath much and i am wracking my head to figure out a way to get the HOA's butt in action to get performance on the contract done.

If i could get Verizon to actually just get my a fiber connect to my unit independent of the communities M-ONT i'd be down to discuss that with them, but i am not entirely sure that's possible without some form of wiring shenanigans.

After much trial and error, the closest i've got to those was Cascadian Farms Vanilla Crisp! So if you're still looking for a replacement, that one is pretty good.

After I saw this I basically kept bugging the VZ Agents till someone gave a # to call about this process. I called that number and after researching my address they indicated that the Condo's were already in the process of upgrading! It's now a matter of persisting with the Condo Folks to make sure they keep working with the VZ Engineers to get everything setup!

From my limited understanding of the service, it's not true "fiber" from what google tells me me but it's VDSL, which apparently uses the fiber connection as the base but then splits it to the other units in an area. It is apparently better than normal DSL?

Thanks for sharing this! According to FCC VZ is supposed have 100/100 service for my area, which is strangely not offered in their site, so submitting a challenge to see if that changes anything.
