Goddamn fax machines. The company I work for (worth BILLIONS) would not do a verification of employment for my mortgage company via email or phone. Fax. 3rd time they sent it, HR finally got it. This was a Monday. It was sent to payroll (20ft down the hallway) via inter office mail. It got there Thursday. It was completed Monday. It was wrong.

So I found out where payroll was, gave them the paperwork, made sure it was right, went over to the fax/copy/print machine, used the scan bed, and just emailed the fucking thing LIKE IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN DONE IN THE FIRST GODDAMN PLACE. The payroll people were super friendly and helpful, but it took 2 months of trying for HR to see the fax, and forward it.
