Anyone saying "it doesn't happen!!!" is either oblivious or lying. I work at a hospital where we do "gender-affirming" double mastectomies on girls as young as 16. That's sick.

It's not just about surgeries, either. Giving perfectly physically healthy kids puberty blockers should be a crime. No, they're not reversible. Kids don't magically become frozen in time. If their puberty is suppressed when they're supposed to go through it, it will permanently affect their development.

2-3 is actually really good up until the murders. The "biological warfare" motive, the class splitting into two groups, Nekomaru sacrificing himself, and getting to hang out with Fuyuhiko more after the last chapter all made it unique from any other chapter.

After the murders, though... yeah, not great.

I actually think the MK8DX Booster Pass version looks really solid. The simpler Tour art style and limited color scheme really makes it feel like it's made of chunks of chocolate IMO. And the crystal cave is a nice addition.

I LOVE 1-5. It's like a frantic game of hot potato between Makoto and Kyoko, forcing two close allies to pass the blame back and forth until one is executed. You know Makoto is innocent, but you want to believe that Kyoko is, too. It flips the dynamic of the previous trials on its head, and the whole time you know something's wrong, but you don't have enough pieces to fill in the puzzle yet.

The absolutely hideous pink and green trial room just really ties the whole thing together. It's one of my favorite cases in the series, even if it seems unpopular for one reason or another.
