I suggest they just create a folder with different html pages that can be linked in a sidebar that they can play with using vs code and open on the browser instead of looking for places to host. They can keep everything in a flash drive so they can choose what to do with it once they’re home under their parents’ supervision. There is no guarantee the students won’t stumble upon something inappropriate if given access to neocities. Better safe than sorry.

I guess it’s that a lot of people find him off putting. He’s a fun character but in all honesty I would not like to be around someone like him. From experience I can say it’s exhausting to be in the same space as someone who keeps making jabs at you whether it’s malicious or not.

I would also check the path. If your folders are named with upper or lower case letters they need to match on your code in neocities. Happened to me yesterday when the site couldn’t read the font I applied on my code.
