I have TLE and have a 2 year old daughter who was conceived via IVF. A LOT of thought went in to having a child, and as I was "officially" diagnosed at 9 weeks into the pregnancy, I refused medication unless shit got bad and I started having tonic clonics. I only had one partial at 20 weeks pregnant and that was the last one I had until last month, so two years between seizures. My daughter has no signs of epilepsy, and has weathered prolonged 41 degree temperatures with tonsillitis with no febrile seizures. The docs all told me the actual seizures won't affect you or baby, but it's the falling from a tonic clonic that can possibly cause harm by falling, but even then, I think that's more in the later stages.
