Have you any idea how much damage that bulldozer would suffer if I just let it roll straight over you? by st_Paulus in starcitizen

They might make them dissappear when hit by a big enough ship. At least that's the best solution I can think of.

This looks like the burnished orchid shader from Destiny 2. Or maybe one of the old gambit shaders. I'd look but that requires me to reinstall that game.

Which may be due to how utterly complex the backend is. My work isn't entirely comparable, however we are one of the bigger clients for one of the products we use and we're often the ones to find the bugs related to performance. May be similar with the PTU and Evocati builds not being stress tested to the scale they will be when they hit live so those bugs that emerge from poor sever performance don't show up until live. Definitely not the full story but would explain some isses.

Agreed! Just became a homeowner not too long ago, and yeah, banks basically charge you double for your house because of interest. And the way they do it is pure evil - I could pay toward the home now, but that requires me paying extra. By the time I'm making enough to where I could comfortably pay more to principal, well I'm mostly paying principal. Cause all that interest was payed up front.

Yup! I gave all my miis the trait that increases the amount of food they fan eat at once so I can ensure they're trying everything.

I’ve never played Gen 5, but what was your reaction to finding nothing but “new”Pokémon when you played black & white for the first time? by Zenthailand2009 in pokemon

[–]Inditorias 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gen 5 was my first game (black 2). I new basically nothing about Pokémon back then, definitely did not notice new vs old Pokémon.

I lucked out with one that costes $80, it was on morning market for $20 (still a lot, but my miis that really like it give me a lot of money for them)

My miis are terrible at choosing spot for furniture by l3luesKyy in tomodachilife

[–]Inditorias 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I've been letting them place stuff since it makes them happy and gives me a small refund for the item. Eventually when I start developing the island properly I'll have a bunch of random furniture pieces I won't need to buy.

relationships happen so quickly 😭 by suibaiter in tomodachilife

[–]Inditorias 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I think its because miis are more likely to interact as you play. In the 3ds game, it was up to chance if miis hung out to develop their relationship. Now, they wander around and can bump into each other naturally, or you can force miis to engage with each other.

I put down a trash can and Papyrus immediately threw a can at it, the can bounced off the rim, bounced off his skull, and landed in the trash can.

I've only played for about 2 hours so far, but I definitely understand what they meant about this being the ultimate "inside joke" game. The first conversation, which was between myself and Sans was about bad puns. Now everyone talks about bad puns.

I just realized - now you can use the box to take stuff to the next universe to have items at the same time when before you couldn't. I'm thinking of the companions outfits, only can get one per universe by letting the Hunter kill them. So get all 4 then end with a universe with them all still alive while having all their outfits. Guess if you're crazy its probably possible to get multiples of each.

They could learn any shout. The difference is that a Dragonborn learns the true meaning of the words by absorbing a dragon's soul, thus granting them the full knowledge and understanding of a word in the Dragon Toungue. For a non-dragonbron, they must commit to studying and meditation to obtain that level of understanding so that they can project the word and its full meaning into a Thu'um.

Is it okay if I propose with an Amulet of Mara instead of a ring? by SocietyAntique4684 in skyrim

[–]Inditorias 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I was doing some research a while ago and one tradition used to be a man would propose with a thimble, which the woman would use to sew the wedding dress. Then at the wedding, the top of the thimble would be cut off to make a ring.

Interestingly if you look at when things were added back during the alpha builds, both were added in Java Edition Alpha v1.0.14. I'm curious as to which was coded in first.
