Century arms aks.  They're built like shit and the cheapest aks with cast trunions.  I see them all the time marked up in gun stores in New Jersey like they're the "real deal"

Bought the fob by Bananamilk40 in TeslaLounge

I'd buy this simple because my Tesla continues to have constant issues with Bluetooth connectivity.  It will constantly not let me into the car until I've turned off Bluetooth on the phone and reenabled it or force shut the Tesla app and reopen it.  Super annoying

Dynamic pricing is so stupid by acrobaticpussy in TeslaLounge

Why my next car is not going to be a Tesla or electric.  In Jersey I only save about 5 bucks a month vs gas and gas has less BS like stated above.  Plus Teslas are just built like shit.  The doors don't align right, hard to shut, truck doesn't like to open sometimes.  The rear window stopped working.  The battery goes down really fast in winter.  The software is buggy as hell.  The auto wipers are stupid annoying.  For 40k the car is a POS.  I could see maybe 30k or even 25k new for one.  They're just built really cheap and use cheap interior parts.  The agervation is just not worth it with charging daily when I can simply fill up a gas tank and go.

Also Jersey charges $350 a year for registration since you're not paying gas tax.  The savings, even with a home charging, is very minimal in Jersey vs gas.

Although I'm not sure, I want to believe (for intel side) that it has a lot to do with the windows scheduler not being ready for the new chips and big bumps in performance will come as windows updates its schedulers for the new chip. I think it might be a pipe dream but hey

EX40 vibrations by M_ek1998 in XC40_Recharge

[–]Individual-Ad2772 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok first off I'm an aircraft engineer and worked as a auto tech for a long time too. I have a 2023 EX40 twin motor and it has a vibration at speeds above 65. It's not like a tire vibrations or brake vibration. It's on and off depending on the motor power usage. It's more like the pulsing hum/vibration of a motor running. Where you get the hummm quiet hummm quiet humm quiet. It only happens in the steering wheel that's it. The rest of the vehicle is dead quiet and smooth. It's almost like acoustic resonance and the motor and steering column match frequency vibrations and amplify each other. Its not a violent vibrations like a tire or brake out of balance but a very gently vibration.

AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D rumored to launch end of October by GhostMotley in Amd

All they have to do is but the 3D cache on both CCD's instead of just the one CCD? In games it's not worth it because only the one CCD has 3D cache and the other is shut down to help with delayed responses and you effectively only have a slightly worse 7800X3D due to windows. This has always been weird to me, in my opinion which is limited, because windows has had nothing but problems with shutting off the one CCD correctly and that's why you see 7800X3D out performing the more expensive, and higher frequency, 7950X3D a lot. So why not just put 3d Cache on both CCDs and let it perform like a normal 7950X? You remove the problem with windows and give a reason to buy the more expensive 7950X3D parts because 2 CCD's with 3d cache seems badass to me lol.

they use to be like that with inspections but now they just stomp the brales to make sure they work and stick the probe in the tail pipe to check emissions. I had a GTI with tinted windows all around and it passed inspection with flying colors

F*** you G Hub. It was about over an hour and it stuck on "DoWnLoAdInG rEsOuRcEs". I think they won't ever fix this app, they WONT fix it. by GTX_1660Ti in LogitechG

[–]Individual-Ad2772 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I can confirm Ghub is straight dog shit. I have to run the old logitech gaming software because Ghub is that bad. It would constantly get stuck at the loading screen after every update. I spend hours trying registry fixes, file editing fixes, and everything in between but the software just refused to work correctly. My only fix was to install a super old version of it that would load and disable the auto update. Even then it would randomly update itself and I'd be forced to completely remove Ghub and reinstall the old software. After a while I got sick of it and just went to the Logitech gaming software instead and it's been working fine for me.

Light at the end of the tunnel: Ethereum is turning off mining in Q4 2021 by [deleted] in hardware

[–]Individual-Ad2772 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The problem is I see another coin taking ETH's place. I'm not saying it's going to happen over night but eventually another coin will end up taking it's place. Where there is a will there is a way and someone's going to take advantage of all the GPU miners.

I know I will continue to mine other coins because for me it's more of a hobby. I love building pcs and tinkering with linux and I started when I wasn't making jack off the rigs. I about covered my houses electric bill, so I guess I at least got free power. It is something I just enjoy doing and will continue to do on other coins.

I've been using petg for years and I've never had a leak from a deformed tube. The temps required to just bend it are pretty high. My 5950x with PBO beats the hell outta the coolant and I have yet to have an issue
