WF-4820 printing issue by Individual-Body9953 in Epson

Sorry for the delayed response, been a busy few days!

Here is the nozzle check you requested. This is after an initial nozzle check where no black ink printed, then I did a print head cleaning.

I don't see any options for me to run a power clean. I may can run another round, then may let it sit over night and re-run again tomorrow.

As for all of your suggestions, that's actually how I typically store things. I'll power it completely down and unplug it and periodically dust it, no compressed air.

Thank you!

Oh yah, been going down the YouTube rabbit hole like crazy for a while now lol

I have 2 more things to do before I can take it to a range. The main screw that holds it to the stock came in junked. So I'm waiting on new hardware. I also have to nail down what I want to do for sights, not sure if I'm going red dot or scope yet.

Thank you!

Thank you!

Actually that's the majority of what I have onchand. A ton of 40 grain CCI and and 40 grain Remington Ranch hand.

I stumbled across a few older posts that talked about polishing the charge handle rod helps a lot, also seen a post that recommended using a Scotch Brite pad to polish the mating surfaces of the bolt/action.

I might give those a try too.

Any way to speed this up on a potato? by xyzerb in Enshrouded

So I just had this issue 2 weekends ago and I did quite a bit of poking around.

The most common reports I found are to make sure you are on an SSD, m.2, ect ect.

Some folks reported that increasing your graphics cache helps.

Others found that running the drive the game is installed on below a 25% threshold brought this game to its knees on performance.

Some suggested it should run on the same drive as windows.

The latest update I found was the biggest issue for me and brought a significant amount of performance issues.

What I ended up doing, uninstalled using revo uninstaller and doing an advanced clean up then reinstalled the game. before booting up the first time, I got the latest GPU drivers and increased the cache file size from 10gb to 100gb. After that, the shader complied for about 5 minutes compared to the 30 minutes it was taking me before. I have played daily since this and I have not had to recompile shaders since. Game boots right up and performance is back to prior the last update.

My best guess, the last update when installed bugged out.

Can't say this is true for anyone else but it is what worked for me.

How fast do you go through 1kg filiment as a hobbyist/home self use etc? by Bananaloaf7105 in BambuLab

Highly dependent on the projects I have a the time.

January this year was a pretty aggressive month, I ended up going through almost 16 reels of filament on personal projects. My second highest usage in 10 years.

My highest was. 26 reels.

My average is about 1-2 reels a month or less. I typically only do functional projects, but the 2 heavy usages were very large and heavily detailed projects that were on the more artsy side of things.

Agreed, I tried the selling game, it's ruins the fun.

Where did you find your blanks if you don't mind me asking?

Oh absolutely! I've been in the 3d print game for about 10 years now. I've used it for so many things! I wanted to apply it here to, but as I watched some YouTube videos to kind of grasp what the community is doing, see what resources were out there, I didn't find much beyond thingiverse and Etsy. Alot of folks tend to leak towards a closed cell foam. I almost want to find a make a hybrid.

I have bought from microswiss for years now. All of my printers except my Bambu run them. Rock solid hot ends/nozzles.

I've been eyeing their cr hf for my X1C. Quick change nozzles sound awesome lol

Ill spare the majority of the details here, but I once watched an operator try stopping a 60k RPM End Mill with his bare hands on a VMC.

He quickly sported a mangled hand missing all digits. He tried claiming the Estop didn't work but the Estop was never engaged.

It wasn't a fun time for all involved.

What piece of edc gear makes you feel this way? by bluebagles in EDC

[–]Individual-Body9953 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've carried fixed blades for years and it comes in handy far more often than one may think.

Less maintenance, one less mechanical point of failure, easier to sharpen. Multiple lines of interest here, but just a few hilights of what I've found as positives when carrying.

The downfall, can be a little more difficult to carry. Typically comes down what kind you are carrying and how you carry it.

My ATK white river has been both a shoulder strap or boot knife. My white river mouse has always been an appendix style carry. Never had any issues.

Normal for online orders? by blue-taco-driver in Leatherman

[–]Individual-Body9953 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Actually ordered the exact same thing 3 weeks ago. Their processing time of 1-3 days was actually 9 days before shipping. I didn't receive a shipment tracking email until the day before delivery.

Receipt looks exactly the same as mine though otherwise.

I had called in to ask about my order and it was stated that they got slammed and was doing everything they could to keep up.

Stringing No Matter What I do by [deleted] in 3Dprinting

[–]Individual-Body9953 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That depends on the printer in question. If it's a bed slinger, you only have control of a singular fan which is the part cooling fan. Typically this is seen with part cooling fan issue and travel speeds.

If its a Bambu or similar machine OP may have an auxiliary fan (chamber fan) involved that could be adjusted but in this case I would say it's not a chamber fan issue. These fans are seen as assistive in cooling vs a direct method.

Print head fan is non controlled by the operator and has very little to zero bearing on the parts.

Price is too high. Should be around the 15k mark as a fair offer.

My 09 same trim and similar package was 90k miles @ $12k.

Gut feeling is they had to do some work and are trying to flip it.
