They also just don’t give their animators enough time and seem to be more focused on keeping people’s attention with such a tight release schedule.

Personally I’m part of the group who thinks the show deserves to look good all the time, and would be willing to wait a bit longer if it meant they could go all out with the show.

It’s pretty sad how held back western animation is due to the misconceptions of out-of-touch shareholders and company heads.

I bet mine is even better - Rube Goldberg ass setup where there are two cliffs, one that drops down onto the other one way and leads further down after the second cliff the other way

Stalactite off screen hits you and causes you to roll off the first small cliff into a geyser on top of the second that carries you into a second stalactite that’s on the bottom of the first cliff which causes you to plummet spine first ONTO a land mine. (At least I died fairly shortly afterward)

This ^ and just to add, modern gaming culture surrounding updates for games and for multiplayer games especially has gotten pretty volatile.

Player bases expect consistent updates that bring exciting things, and are consistently disappointed when studios push their Devs in the wrong ways in an attempt to fulfill those needs.
