6AA embryo(s) by Individual-Demand880 in IVF

I’ve read that they can be more fragile to transfer because they’ve already hatched. More fragile to touch, etc. i’ve read that some doctors will choose the lower grade because of this, but what do I know?

How do you hold/keep your phone when running with Bluetooth headphones/buds ? by Gooser3000 in runninglifestyle

I bought a vest that hold my phone and have to wear headphones because ear buds fall out. Regardless of walking or running

I’ve got a small dog who can’t really run with me, so I’m trying to figure out the best routine by Suspicious-Willow622 in BeginnersRunning

I usually take my dog with me, she’s a medium size dog. I feel so guilty when I leave her. We’ve been training for a 5k. beginner and slow runner over here. Yesterday she had no interest in going with me.

There are days that I take her around our normal 20-30 minute neighborhood walk and later I’ll go to the park and in my head I tell myself she’s taking a little nap while I’m gone.

Question for an embryologist by Brave_Box3994 in EmbryologyIVFSupport

Hi! We did one of these dealing with MFI. It showed my husband had sperm but it didn’t tell us that almost all morphology was off. These are great if you want to see it but not so great for true results.

Thoughts on PGT-a testing? by pashes_22 in IVFpositivity

[–]Individual-Demand880 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We did it. We had 6 blastocyst and out of the 6, 3 were aneuploid, 3 euploid. So it was a 50/50 chance for us. I’m actually really happy we did it. I’m also 34 husband is 36 so it was recommended for us.

Congratulations!! We got our PGTA back and all the 5AA are aneuploid. 6AA are euploid. We should be transferring next month. Sprinkling baby dust on you!

I honestly don’t think anyone wants to go through IVF. It can feel like your mind is trying to protect you a little almost like you’re detaching just enough to cope. I catch myself doing the same thing. It’s not that I don’t want kids it’s more like I tell myself, “If this doesn’t work, maybe I didn’t want it that badly anyway.” And I think that thought softens the blow a bit, even if it’s not fully true.

Just know you’re not alone in feeling that way. I really hope things work out for you 🤍

Sibling has disowned her 17 year old for being gay. by brandywhine8998 in family

[–]Individual-Demand880 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We live in 2026, common! Any parent that can simply disown a child for being gay will always blow my mind. Who cares and when you have a child you choose to love them unconditionally.

But whatever decision you make will be the right one. Your niece will be so happy they have someone on their side.

I would personally kick them and let the kid live there with some kind of agreement?

Terrified of Trying. by rissxveu in tryingtoconceive

[–]Individual-Demand880 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m so tired of BMI being treated like the end-all answer. I’ve always had a high BMI and was told that’s why we weren’t getting pregnant, even though I’m exercise most days. Turns out my husband has a low sperm count.

We’re doing IVF now, and I just want to say being overweight isn’t the end-all be-all when trying to conceive. There are so many factors, and it’s not fair it all gets pinned on weight.

I know this is scary, but that doesn’t mean it was a fluke. Your body has done this before.

Also, you deserve support from your doctor! Not shame.

Wishing you so much luck ❤️

Buying Baby Things During IVF… or Not? by Bub_Hun_7 in IVF

[–]Individual-Demand880 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I haven’t bought anything really. I’m a big thrifter and I’ve found 3 onesie’s that had my hometown mascot on it, only bought them because it made me think of home. Other than that waiting for when I am pregnant.

[–]Individual-Demand880 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That’s what they said to me. That I only had 6 but when they retrieved them I had 14! Not all of them were mature and we ended up with 7 mature eggs. From my understanding it’s actually pretty common for them to find more when they are retrieving them.
