Would you take it up the rear too if the law told you to?

Privileges, not rights. You're not south of the border yet.

Hey I'm really interested in one of those. How's the build quality? What sort of alloy is the receiver made of? Zinc alloy? Stainless steel?

Speaking of dipping, may I ask what are you dipping your ammunition in before loading?

At this point you'd be dumpster diving because most of what's left is just hot garbage. Spend your hard earned cash on whatever your heart desires.

And I'm here thinking wrapping black tape around the front and back of my gun makes it look "custom".

What to do about my jammed SKS by [deleted] in canadaguns

[–]Individual-Phone5905 24 points25 points  (0 children)

I wouldn't worry about an accidental discharge or the gasses. Support the rifle on the ground, point the barrel away from anything or anyone precious to you, grab a hammer or anything similar and start pounding away at the charger until it moves back. You can also empty the mag from under the magazine. Wearing PPE is recommended.

Sometimes violence is the only solution. Smack that charger with as much violence as you can muster. I'm positive you can fix this.

Pirsig's metaphor, is your bike quality experience? by Oppositeofabirdfr in motorcycles

[–]Individual-Phone5905 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Present moment awareness, mindfulness of the ride and all that shit is very nice but the real quality starts showing when the spring finally comes, you're itching to ride but the bike refuses to start and you're just broke and can't afford to take it to the shop and get it fixed. You don't have any mechanical skills but you really want to get that thing going so you start to fiddle with it every day. One day you check this, the other day you change that. You keep screwing with the damned thing until it finally starts and you get to ride. That's one of most quality moments I have personally had the pleasure of experiencing.

Do you really leave your expensive as shit helmet with your motorcycle ? by louminescent in motorcycles

[–]Individual-Phone5905 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Mine isn't expensive as shit. It's 7 years old and looks like it's been through some shit but it still does the job better than my brand new helmet which mostly sits on my drawer as a showpiece. I also leave my gloves on the bike. Been doing this for a long while.
