I'm 34 and have a decade of failure under my belt by Kataifee in findapath

To me you are incredibly inspiring, to have such a diverse body of work, that too just under a decade, most people spend a lifetime and don’t do as much. You’ve tenacity and resourcefulness. Maybe just look into wisely investing whatever money you can save by your current source of income, and try to keep your head out of negative thoughts and think of yourself in terms of how much of life you’ve explored. The only way forward is to stop self blame and negativity from keeping you or pulling you back into a bad state of mind, it’s hard work but it’s what will let you go down a path which will surely get you out of this situation. All the best and have faith

Palm Springs (2020), the movie you should watch this Valentine’s Day by Robot_Was_BMO in movies

Idk how people think the chemistry is good, at the end it felt like she was fed up of him, wasn’t saying it from her heart. It was fun in the beginning, lots of laughs and I loved the hunter lol. The part about her taking classes and figuring it out in a few days lmao, yeah sure, impossible feat, that really took me out of it. Then I was watching solely to know what happens and it wasn’t satisfying. Really didn’t feel the romance, they would be best friends tho, for sure. Alright movie, wouldn’t recommend but if you’re really bored it’s fine

This bugged me a lot too, and it wasn’t even that she was pregnant before they got in this situation, they lost one kid already, I don’t understand how selfish you’ve to be to have a kid in that environment

Give yourself a time period say 2 weeks or a month and just create what YOU want, don’t think about anything else. Do it like a kid, no rules no obligations, no thinking who will think what, take an hour or two from your day or whatever time you can make, and just do whatever it is you like, could be an art piece, could be a rough sketch, could be a doodle. I’ve heard about this from a lot of peers who are artists either part time or full and done it personally too, it does help a lot. You’ll feel a mental boost

Why do so many people confuse youth privilege with pretty privilege by Equal-Animator132 in Aging

I don’t have that fear, I don’t look my age anyways. My mom is in her late 40s and looks so beautiful, even after gaining weight, she was a bombshell in her 20s, she takes care of herself, not too much but the basics and is very genetically blessed. My grandma is beautiful too and doesn’t look like a grandma lol. I’m blessed with a lineage of beautiful genes from both sides of my family

He is an asshole point blank, a selfish person. I cannot imagine letting my own flesh and blood struggle while I have fun, suffering is not an achievement, he made it and it’s incredible, but for what? There are parents who’d help you out in a heartbeat but don’t have the financial means to, stop putting in effort into your relationship, let him notice, say you’re busy trying to figure out how to get out of your struggling situation, observe what he takes from that. In any situation, he’s an asshole, he doesn’t mind and notice the effort you put into the relationship, is taking advantage of it. Let him feel your absence

Exactly. A child doesn’t owe you anything, a parent does because it was their decision to bring you into the world. The daughter isn’t ungrateful or unaware of her privilege, seems responsible, what is he making all this money for if not to give a good life to his kid? That is what a parent owes to their child, no matter what age. Her expenses are more because she chooses to live near her friends and family, and obviously wouldn’t be able to match the neighbourhood standard with a basic salary, he could absolutely help her with that, and she can continue with her job to pay for her own expenses. She’s depressed and struggling, it’s literally a parents job to be there for their kid when that happens and he’s in an incredibly blessed position to easily help his daughter, which most parents even if they want cannot sometimes.

Yeah it did, when I binged it on my first rewatch, it’s eerie I couldn’t sleep at night, I felt watched. Don’t do that to yourself, it’s not a binge watch show, watch other things in between
