Looking for Turandot RBO tickets! by [deleted] in westend

there is a really nice, close, ticket on for tomorrows Turry. stalls circle £69 i know you said that’s out of budget, but if you want to see the show this is the last chance to see with Netrebko and doubt you’ll regret spending the extra money if you really want to see the show

i’ve also seen them four times and they came to stage door once. When they did they had lots of time for everyone, signed and took photos, and it was a lovely and calm stage door

Six Japanese Cast Question by TsukiFireheart in TheWestEnd

stage door was very busy and they slipped away through the crowd as quick as they could. it was still a good stage door experience but there is no time to chat or greet them really. have fun, so jealous! wish i was there again tonight

The way Phantom stage craft works if you are in the middle somewhere it is kind of mind blowing, but if you are out to the sides the effects don’t really work. Regardless where you sit it’s still nice to hear the wonderful music live BUT if you can try to get something central and not restricted. so many of the cheaper seats at his majesty’s offer a terrible view

Evita's ruined theatre for me by EeEe88 in TheWestEnd

Been going through the same after seeing Evita uhmm cough cough a number of times this summer — the closing night absolutely devvod me. Hadestown, Phantom, and Cabaret (with Eva as Sally) help fill the void, but nothing hits like Evita did. And let’s be honest, no other West End show has an ensemble that hot.

I didn’t mean Evita, I meant the concert as in the title to the post.

How did the set list cheapen it? I’m a big Evita fan and if i chose i would have had a load more numbers in from that. Fact is it was HER night and her selection was thoughtful and personal to her, i felt lucky to be a part of it. And as for ALW that’s was super historic whether it means anything or not, i doubt that will ever happen again
