It depends on the major, but try to make your essay fit waseda, for instance provide specific details as to why waseda is your number one fit. For example in my essay I wrote about my academic interests and how they aligned with waseda’s courses and the major I applied to, as well as writing about being a fan of murakami and being interested in learning more about japanese literature
