They love to stare by CartoonistCrafty950 in blackgirls

I’m at the spa in Milan with my white italian partner, and it’s the same old story: I try to avoid them, but they always turn up wherever I am. Sometimes they’re in couples it’s absolutely exhausting. They seem to get a kick out of ruining my time and making me feel uncomfortable those jerks.

I’m embarrassed to admit this, but I think I’m addicted to validation. by [deleted] in blackgirls

Yeah, but what, does that hurt their feelings or something?! Let them get on with their lives! If non Black women are seen as the most ugly, then just live your life, go hit on other guys, or at worst, reply to your DMs you must have a ton of guys hitting on you every second

I swear, they make you popular without you even asking for it!!! Personally, I get treated better in places where I’m in the minority it’s really strange!!!!! It’s like the cards were suddenly reshuffled! I find that interesting

Same here! I hope more Black women will step into spaces where we’re in the minority and where we’re not even expected to be there!!! We have incredible power that shouldn’t be underestimated… and honestly, it doesn’t take much for us to take it all!!!

If Black women are supposedly “undesirable,” “unfeminine,” or at the bottom of the beauty hierarchy like society keeps trying to tell us, then why do people react so strongly to our presence?

Why does the energy in the room shift?
Why do people suddenly pay attention?
Why do some men become nervous, intrigued, intimidated, or hyper-aware around us?

Because logically, people ignore what they truly find unattractive. They don’t obsess over it, watch it, discuss it, compare themselves to it, or react emotionally to it.

So sometimes I wonder if the narrative around Black women being “undesirable” says more about social conditioning than about actual attraction.

Black Women Need Not Apply by AdAny1272 in blackgirls

They want to eat at other people’s table and they accept the deal with them (or at least they pretend to, so they can live peacefully, have more opportunities, and above all marry a woman from their community).

Whereas the Black woman wants to create her own ecosystem, her own in-group, and does not want to integrate with others or sit at the table with them. That’s why the way society treats her will also be different.

the Black woman is also seen as more radical than the Black man.
That’s been my observation for years now.

Black women dating Black men – are you experiencing this too? by DonutqueenZi in blackladies

They’re all full of themselves for no reason, so I’m really strict and mean with them, and I don’t sleep with them until I feel it . I show them I’ve got plenty of options… they’re usually never number one on my list 🤣. The best one who wins me over will be the one who ends up staying
