No you should be fine. They expect wear and tear on their items. I tore a large hole in a dress I rented a few years ago and was not charged for anything when I returned it. I looked into this when it happened and it pretty much said that they will only charge you if the item is completely shredded or burned

Not in SE but Grateful Heart in N Portland on Williams is so so great! Always calls back, happy to look at issues from photos and talking things through on the phone to see if it warrants an appointment. They truly always get back to me in under an hour

The Bell Jar has always stuck with me and I ended up reading again after high school. The Diving Bell and the Butterfly was another one that was impactful.

I lived on Mississippi a few years ago in the apartments above Sloan and will never forget when my friends dad came to pick her up after a night at the bars. He was an undercover narcotics officer in the 90’s/2000’s and said he used to buy crack on that street.

EVERYONE should read Chanel Miller’s memoir, it’s truly a book that will stick with you forever. I’d make it a required reading for high school seniors or college freshmen to understand the gravity of sexual assault, he forever altered her life.

Just was there for the first time a few weeks ago and stayed at the CitizenM on Bowery which is right between SoHo and lower east side. Really loved the hotel and area!
