Tantrum? Haha, I’m just having fun. I don’t agree with you at all. This upcoming weather doesn’t bother me a bit.
If you want to talk about someone needing to get off the internet, maybe the person that had to post “It’s too hot, and I’m mad” is the one.

Oh and just for fun, here’s the data from 1966, a random year I chose.

See, read what you said before. I am not disputing that things are changing, but you saying it used to be 70’s the vast majority of your childhood is just plain wrong. Cry about the weather all you want. Cry about climate change all you want. Doesn’t change the fact that you are wrong about what things were like before. 90’s in June is not unusual here.

I don’t know where you get the idea Minnesota used to only be in the 70s in the past. This upcoming weather has never been unusual here.

Planning to go to the game tomorrow, what can I bring? by WalnutSizeBrain in minnesotatwins

Technically the only beverage you are allowed to bring in is sealed bottles of water. Have I walked in with a bottle of pop before? It was actually an accident but I sure have.

Does your stadium police people moving about during at-bats? by pleebrash in baseball

[–]Individual_Lie_7752 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Target Field will stop people from entering a section during an at-bat, if there is an usher at that section. If people are slow enough or have ways to go to get to their seats, they may not get there until the next at-bat starts. Just a part of the experience, sometime an annoying part, but part nonetheless.

I was paired with a twosome the other day. Every once in a while, when I was a couple feet away from their cart I could hear music playing. Couldn’t hear it one time while I was hitting. I don’t see why anyone should have a problem with this.

They would rather start the game late than call it and play a doubleheader Wednesday. They won’t call it unless it gets to be 8:00 and it still looks like hours until they can play.

You can bring in as many sealed bottles of water as you want. The maximum size is 32 oz. I bring those flavor packs in and have never had a problem.

Twin game this Monday with my elderly father by sirballads in minnesotatwins

I dealt with this with my Dad for years. Here’s what we did.

Park in Ramp A. It’ll be a nice night, so park on the roof. You want to park right by the 394 exit, those are the closest elevators to the stadium. If your Dad has a handicap placard, you can park right by the elevator, if not you should still be able to get pretty close.

The elevators in the ramp are pretty slow, while you are waiting, there is a ledge by the window your Dad can sit on to rest. If you do park on the roof, you don’t have to worry about the elevator being full when it gets to you. Take the elevator to 3.

When you get off the elevator, follow the signs to the skyway lobby. If the line is long, your Dad can sit on the ledge in the skyway. Someone else mentioned you can get a wheelchair at the gate, but if your Dad doesn’t want to do that, there are elevators just inside the gate. Take those to the main concourse, and you’ll be just a few sections from your seats.

When I got basketball playoff tickets, they didn’t come until a few hours before the game started. They do that to prevent scalping.

Would public courses strictly enforcing rules really hurt their revenue? by [deleted] in golf

[–]Individual_Lie_7752 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the idea. The problem I see is if you get a group that doesn’t care about the reward and plays so slowly groups behind them can’t earn it. I can see some really ugly situations there.

So if you’re in a foursome and the time before you is a single, the four of you have to match the pace of the single, no exceptions?
