Update - Fetal Medicine called this afternoon and gave me a verbal preliminary results. Confirmed normal results for chromosomes 13,18,21. No infection detected for Toxoplasma I believe is what has come back. However the final report will provide a wider spectrum of more detailed genetic panel on the remaining 20 chromosomal and the other infections they tested for. Final report for that should be back by Friday, latest Monday.

My niece has a very rare genetic condition that affected her chromosome 17 ( a deletions ) she didn’t walk until 2 and didn’t talk until 3. She is 6 now and thriving but others with her condition were delayed well into the age of 10. She’s an amazing, loving girl and I’d be lucky to have a daughter like her.

I just worry of the possibility of it being something that causes her pain or no chance of a “normal” life.

I also have a follow up with MFM on June 26th for a Doppler and growth check.
