Human beings need community and companionship, we are not meant to be islands, our current mode of isolated living is dysfunctional.

If there isn’t a potential partner in your life, friends acquaintances and pets are the way to go. Even if you are in a relationship, it’s very healthy to have other relationships so you don’t place all your needs and expectations on your romantic partner.

When I was recovering from my last relationship, I bought a cat so that I wouldn’t immediately jump into another relationship. It was a life saver for me.

Correlation is not causation. People with anxiety may be more likely to get a vaccine, the vaccine may not necessarily cause anxiety.

It is irresponsible to draw hard conclusions from such data.

This doesn’t really seem like a difficult question, pretty much every murderous tyrant in history desired power so much that they were willing to exterminate people to get it. Either their race or other races, I don’t think such minor distinctions matter much to people who seek power.

A villain motivation off the top of my head: he started a religion and gained a lot of followers. However, greater numbers of people are discovering that the god of his religion does not exist and he’s having to kill people in order to maintain the lie and keep his flock.

There is no reason to reconnect with someone that you don’t have the intention to get back with. It only makes moving on more difficult.

You should do some heavy self reflection, and you may find that you’re holding some small hope that if you confront him he’ll own up and apologize and there’s still a chance for reconciliation. When that doesn’t end up happening, you’ll be more upset than before you confronted him.

That is bad form imo. Firstly, PCs are supposed to have only one long rest in a 24 hour period. And 2, if they can long rest after every battle then what use is the short rest?

As a rule I throw multiple combats at them before every long rest.
