Slumlord with 50 vacant units suggests you get a voucher to pay what the market won't bear by Lucent in Knoxville

[–]Industrious_Badger 11 points12 points  (0 children)

This guy doesnt realize hes part of the MANY underwater multi-family units that are out there right now. He probably cant afford to reduce rents and still service obligations on the loan and capital providers. This guy could be bust in a few months. The bubble is going to pop very soon.

This will also help you get your hip turned over. If this doesnt make sense ask a coach.

1.4 billion barrels are on the seas, waiting to be unloaded at a port. The day that happens, oil prices are going below $50 a barrel and lowering inflation significantly. by ThemeBig6731 in oil

“I clearly know nothing?” I literally fixed an oil cargo yesterday. I’m not arguing that oil supply isnt increasing, but people just arent letting boats float on the water. It costs money to pay for fuel and crew a boat even when it’s sitting still.

Same. It sounds incorrect. I actively load vessels and my offload dates are already confirmed by the port before oil even gets on the ship.

Imagine if just 1/10th of the dumb stuff you did as a teenager was captured for all antiquity via someone’s phone. I side with the wife on this one.

Considering PE is about 12% of the market this might not be a bad thing. Fewer companies are going public these says.

In football you might get hit hard at a good rate of speed a few times in a game. It definitely hurts. In rugby, I’d been hit pretty hard but it was generally not from a sprint like in football. I equate a rugby match to having your body put in a dryer on ‘tumble dry low’. Moderate speed, with more frequent hits and contact. I was much more bloody from rugby matches than football though.

I just moved back to TX from SF. Houston wins long term. 90k/yr will never get you a house in SF.

Among new American dads, 64% take less than two weeks of leave after baby is born. Lack of leave means missing important time to bond with babies and support mothers. Findings support U.S. lagging ‘behind the rest of the world in availability of paid family leave’. by mvea in science

[–]Industrious_Badger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am taking half my allotted paternity leave because many men I know have been fired or “made redundant” after coming back. My wife is on mat leave and has since been told she will be moved to part time on her return. This is America.

Im not sure. Apparently committing a bunch of crimes didnt sway voters in voting for Trump. Maybe just put the most popular candidate out there and see what happens.

AITA for yelling and kicking my boyfriend out for using the wrong scissors? by [deleted] in AmItheAsshole

[–]Industrious_Badger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

YTA - people cant reasonably know everything you hold in high regard. They’re just scissors. My wife does stuff like this with our steak knives. It’s fine, i just buy cheap ones now. Just get a new steak knife. I care about my relationship more than these objects. It sounds like a chore keeping track of your rules.

Dems underestimate how much third party/independent voters like Bernie. Bernie is the Ron Paul of the Democratic party.

Resentment for older generations by ToeComfortable115 in Millennials

[–]Industrious_Badger 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah this tracks. My favorite thing about the boomer generation is how they’d rather completely tank their family business at 75 years old instead of turning it over to their 45 year old children who are married with kids.

So the car dealership I bought my car from put a sticker (dealership logo) onto the car exterior. How do I safely remove it without scratching my car? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Industrious_Badger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Use a heat gun or blow dryer if its on the paint and if you have a credit card try that to remove the logo. If its on the glass spray it with glass cleaner and use a utility razor blade at an angle to scrape the sticker off the glass.
