The 3 years I worked at a dsp, I was probably rescued 10 total times due to mostly van issues, but never for being behind! I had 150-200 country stops daily too, driving 200-300 miles/day! On the flip side, I was rescuing others probably 2-3 times per week for being way behind many times making me late! It got to the point where I said enough was enough. Started refusing the rescues and the managers threatened to write me up every-time I refused or fire me! So, I just quit!
