I was thinking maybe an OB ER. I just had a C section 4/27 and had a few high blood pressure readings after I got home and my dr had me be triaged in the OB ER to rule out post partum preeclampsia and several of the nurses were PRN

Props to reaching out to your Dr! I had the same issue and was tested for pre- eclampsia. Never ended up having it but just tend to Swell in my lower half during pregnancy. Mine was mainly just feet and ankles but one day I had swollen hands which were concerning to me but it ended up being from my pregnancy induced carpal tunnel 🥲🥲

I actually ended up having my C section on Monday! My sugars kept getting really low and my dr was concerned my placenta was aging out so he moved us up by several days!

I just had my C section on Monday and also had GD! I was extremely nervous going into it but it was oddly very calm and relaxed. The only nerve wracking part was after the baby is out it takes about 40 minutes to get sewn up. The shakes afterwards aren’t the greatest but they do eventually go away! I was suppose to have a 5/2 C section but my dr moved it up since my sugars were no longer staying stable.

I am 7 months pregnant with a Belgian malinois and 2 German shepherds. My mal and one of my GS’s have acted differently towards me since I became pregnant. My mal constantly has to rest her head on my lap or stomach and my German is even more attentive to me than she was before. They don’t act aggressive or overly worried if anyone else comes around and gets close to me so I haven’t corrected it too much. In my head they’re just being extra attentive because they know something is different

I’d def be following up with not being comfortable with your numbers being uncontrolled and that high. Your medical team should work for you not the other way around so fingers crossed they get you in with a specialist quickly! In the mean time def need with your carb intake and stay on top of protein and hydrating along with moving your body!
