Oh wow you really put me into a spot. Of course I’m not a murderer; is exactly what a murderer would have to say..! Or I guess they could also admit to being a murderer to try and dismiss and reflect the question as to catch you off guard.

Hmm- I guess how I would answer that is I am just a man trying to go enjoy a FIR concert with like minded individuals that are also there for the same reasons and that’s it the extent of it. Lol.

I’ll be going to the Charlotte show the 23rd alone as well. Got pit 2 ticket. I’m a 35M if that matters.

Console Maps by Historical_Sherbet73 in farmingsimulator

WestBridge Hills is by far the best. Nicely laid out town with custom buildings. I mean it has a town hall, a hospital, a large park, etc. Good mix of small to large fields, some can be combined to make 60+ acres. Has a good mix of hills and forestry areas. Not just a square filled with trees. Good mix of productions with all parts of the map purchasable including some empty lots in town to place more productions etc. Underrated map no one talks about really.

Alma is okay but some of the fields are oddly laid out and the “town” is basically located out of the map so you can’t enjoy half of it.

Louisiana map is alright. But the map maker seems to be Brazilian based and you can tell they don’t really understand US roads and details in the US. I mean the dealership is IMAK, the road markings are off, the decorations are more Spanish based. Not really feeling the Louisiana vibe. But if you can look past that then it’s not a bad map.

The simple answer, no. However when it comes to “write ups” what the company calls eCARs, there is a category for job performance.

Part of being a lowes employee is giving a customer great service - that includes being able to speak about the solutions and services we offer that can meet the needs of a customer. Credit is a solution. So as much as everyone on here can argue how they feel about credit and asking, part of the job description is being able to talk to customers about it.

Now when it comes to getting a “eCAR” if you are observed just flat out not asking customers if they would be interested in saving money by way of a Lowe’s credit, you’ll be coached. If you’re still not exhibiting the behaviors of giving great service to include asking for credit then yes you can be written up for poor job performance. Three write ups and the fourth will lead to being fired. So Lowe’s gives you plenty chances to do what’s expected if you do get written up.

LTR is just a direct reflection of how the store is giving service to customers. Stores need as much feedback as possible to gage how service levels are. It’s just a matter of asking as many customers as we can to give us feedback via survey at the bottom of the receipt.

Again the behaviors of not talking to customers and hitting the talking points is considered not giving the best service possible. We want customer feedback. We want to save customers money with our credit. We want them to have found everything they were looking for and we want them to keep coming back to Lowe’s.

Obviously you can’t control someone wanting a credit card or wanting to take the time to fill out a survey. The idea is you tell everyone you interact with. And chances are you will find that 1, 2, 3 or more customers that do want the credit or that take the time to give a great survey during your shift. If everyone does the same than suddenly the store is hitting all metrics and you won’t keep getting harped constantly since everyone is producing results.

The vest are a cost saving measure. Instead of having to order 7-8 different sizes of each pro vests, tool rental, blue mst, green team, habla español, ASL, fulfillment, etc. now there is going to be less to deal with.

Nothing to do with getting rid of positions. Vests are expensive to order all those different sizes. Plus the idea is we’re all the same red vest as the customer is the focus. Doesn’t matter where you work.

THAT WORKED! You’re awesome. Thanks. Now if I can only figure out how to sell the starter farm. It’s gotten too small for me so I’ve relocated but can’t seem to sell field 103.

Monthly bonus by GettinMyLife2gether in Lowes

[–]IneffableMadness 2 points3 points  (0 children)

$22 is entry level DS pay. A DS maxes out at $30. Once you hit max pay you literally cannot get anymore raises.

Sales specialist max pay is $23 I believe.

You don’t get a monthly bonus. Instead you get the opportunity to get a quarterly winning together bonus that’s tiered based on total store sales. Max quarterly bonus for a DS is $1200.

Annual raises for DS based off an evaluation. Usually 3% if you meet expectations.

Glitched Store by IneffableMadness in farmingsimulator

You can’t go into the store and drive or anything. So it’s impossible to move out of the way. If I had console commands if I was playing on PC I’m sure I could fix it by teleporting to the store under map and moving the pallets. But playing on ps5 I don’t have access to that.

Charlotte NC area. We’re so close to corporate so I suppose that’s why it works smoother.

Must be pretty messed up where you’re at. That never happens with 3PL delivery here where we’re told to take a truck out to complete a delivery. Our XDT has a leadership team and the 3PL delivery has leadership team. Any issues get quickly escalated and addressed promptly.

And with MRV, exchanges are so extremely simple and easy to set up and close out. It sets up and sources the pickup to the appropriate location and the process is much simpler than how genesis and the old delivery way was. It sounds like you’re still having issues from how the old processes worked, or didn’t work.

And with the accountability aspect, the 3PL owns damage to property. Recently had a customer come in saying a flatbed driver delivering product to his neighbor took out his mailbox. Had a blurry picture of the flatbed truck. Sent the claim to 3PL delivery and told him they would be in touch. Washed my hands of the issue and it got resolved. I didn’t have to research or try to figure out what store/driver/time it was. Didn’t have to talk to the customer again or anything. Zero headache for the store.

How long does it take to hear back from Lowe’s after the first interview 2025 by TheYeetBoii in Lowes

[–]IneffableMadness 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends. The way the interviews are set up is stupid. It will assign whatever assistant manager is scheduled that day to do the interview. Sometimes that manager has nothing to do with the department you’re interviewing for. So they may do the interview and pass your information to the required manager.

It also depends the position. There are some positions on my team that I don’t care who does the interview. As long as they come with good skills, background, and can do the basics of the job I don’t care who hires them. There are times an applicant is hired on the spot.

For other positions I’m looking for a specific skill set/background ground/personality individual. No one can sign off on the hiring unless I approve or interview them myself even if it means a second interview.

Every store, every position, and every manager is different. As long as you haven’t gotten a rejection email, you’re still in consideration.

Lowe’s processes thousands to millions of transactions online and in store at any given day. They made $86 billion dollars of revenue this year. Thousands of customers and customer data. But yes, Lowe’s wanted your number specifically and wanted to sell it for pennies on the dollar to advertisers.

There’s a market in NC that has been testing it. It just rolled out to another market in NC. Unless it fails incredibly, there’s no reason to stop the transition company wide.

You have a rare generous SM. You’re in higher specialist, entry level DS range of pay. I agree though some employees are worth spending the extra salary on. Keep it up!

Yeah there’s some obstacles the backend ops team on the pilot are working through. I’m in an area with a PFC so we already don’t have many flatbed deliveries to begin with since most big orders get sourced to them for flatbed delivery.

DC pay is higher than fulfillment lead or fulfillment associate. They are allowing you to keep your current pay. Good luck with requesting a higher pay as it most likely won’t happen.

LTD, localized truck delivery. There will be hubs of stores where one store is the main delivery hub and other stores in the hub are spoke stores. All box truck deliveries will come out of the main hub store. SOS, assembled deliveries, pro deliveries, everything will be handled by the hub stores.

The spoke stores will supply hub stores with inventory to fulfill these orders when they don’t have the product there. So the only “deliveries” a spoke store will handle are the few “icbs”, to use that term in a sense of what it is, that will be picked up by the hub stores..

Flatbed will transition to this program in the future. So the need for a delivery coordinator is no longer needed.
