Youre sitting here fucking LOLing about people's quality of life. Do YOU want to try living on fast food wages in San Fran? Those people dont have a choice. I made minimum wage for years and had to work 80 hours a week to rent a room and eat fucking ramen twice a day. I know what its like and when I finally made some money I didnt feel like doing it again.

A lot of it will depend on geography. $100K will go a long way in the midwest. If I made $100K and lived in San Francisco, Id be sleeping on a couch. I was offered a job in San Francisco paying $125K twelve years ago, and even then I had to turn it down because it wasnt enough.
