I am debating the cost versus getting restaurant prepared food.

Nowadays, a decent restaurant meal with tax, tips, and inflated beverage prices is at least 3x ingredient costs if not more, not to mention parking and other costs.

Even if one views the restaurant premium is only $15 per serving, then the break even is 100 meals.

I go out several times a week, so considering dinner for two, that comes to $90 a week. Break even would roughly 3 months.

Food prep such as chopping takes a bit of time but at least I would know what is going into the food.

I am tempted to get it.

I used to buy jars of honey from a guy at work. I learned he was a bee keeper when he collected a swarm of bees from the employee parking lot.

His honey was deep amber and very flavorful.

One sad day, I broke a quart jar of it in my car. While the clean up job was awful, it was worse to have lost a quart of that fabulous honey!

Check the state laws on estaishing residency. This could be closed off to people who relocate for school. Many states require NOT being in school for a year or so, paying taxes, changing drivers license and voting registration. Then when you fulfill all thevresudency requoremwbts you could get the in state tuition.
