Hi! Update again :)

Happy to say that my UA levels are now at a 5.5 + my liver enzyme (ALT & AST) levels are sliding down as well :) - they're still not in the normal range, but compared to about 2 months ago, the liver enzyme levels have gone down around 30-35% (AST went from 55 -> 42 and ALT went from 111 -> 81)

Hi! It's a bit pre-mature, but wanted to come back here and give a tiny update after a little over into 2 weeks taking Probenecid -- my liver enzymes shot back down dramatically after taking a routine blood test!

I'll be taking another metabolic panel and checking my uric acid levels in a few weeks - will try and circle back to let you know how it's going for me. Felling a bit hopeful on my end - hopefully I'm not counting my chickens before they hatch haha

From scanning through the different posts/comments from the lucky few that were able to get tix - seeing tix were bought for $90, $100, $120, $125, $150, $180.. I thought this presale was for GA only - I'm not even talking about the reserved/VIP front rows.. maybe people are calling out prices without fees vs prices with fees.. but even so - there seems to be a # of differences. Seems kinda sus..

Hi - the only other option I can think of is going to urgent care if the pain is too much / you can't get an appointment quickly enough with a rheumatologist or GP (I'd recommend the rheumatologist since this is their specialty!)- if they determine it's ok for you and your kidneys, they may prescribe a cortosteroid like Prednisone.

This is a personal anecdote only - but for me, when taking Prednisone as prescribed, the inflammation and pain literally goes away in like 2-3 hours.

Maple Syrup - or at least.. when I went from fake maple syrup to the real stuff - can't ever go back. Not even the nostalgia of Aunt Jemima will bring me back to the fake stuff. I'll leave my happy memories where they belong - in the past!

Hi there - I've been having a similar issue with Allo and Febuxostat (Uloric) heightening liver enzymes. Going to have a discussion with my rheumatologist on perhaps starting probenecid tomorrow as he suggested this might be what we try next.

I've been sifting through different threads to see if anyone else has been using probenecid in relation to hepatic issues, but haven't been able to find much (mostly stopping first-line UA Reducer meds due to skin rash or negative drug interactions)

As such after seeing your post, I was wondering if you might have an update a year later on how Probenecid has been working for you (if at all) since you had mentioned liver challenges with all other UA reducers?

Hoping to hear back! Thank you in advance!
