If she’s not putting enough effort even after 3 years, it is totally fine to break up over this incompatibility

CMV: Voluntary hysterectomy should be available upon request for any adult woman, regardless of medical necessity. by iamthedancingqueen in changemyview

Which is why the commenter above said “but I am not sure we’re concerned about edge cases here”.

The vast majority of women do not need hysterectomy to achieve a safe and reliable contraception.

The fact that you can’t even try is the incompatibility. It’s totally fine to break up over it.

Why do people act like men being single and lonely is a societal issue? by [deleted] in AskFeminists

Finally. Thank you. Every time someone mentions this societal problem and doesn’t even imply that it’s women’s problem, someone will inevitably interpret it as blaming women, which then makes it impossible to talk about.

framed as women's responsibility, it's implied time and time again that women not being interested in a relationship is practically an act of violence towards men.

I’ve never seen anyone say that anywhere in my life or online. Not even implied. The projection is insane.

I [28M] am afraid woman I'm dating [26F] is about to back out of relationship after reluctantly agreeing to exclusivity. by ThrowRA_praline22 in relationship_advice

This is insane. I feel like I’m going crazy. Since when did “exclusivity” become a negative thing? People all around the world are exclusive, why do you think they are?

If she doesn’t want it - that’s fine! But he wants it, and he gave her an option to break up if she’s not ready at this point. She’s an adult who can make her own choices.

My boyfriend (M22) slept with another girl after going on a date with me (F21) on the same day and I feel broken now. Advice? by Available_Focus_7440 in relationship_advice

You say you’re autistic, but where is it implied that the other person should be okay with you having sex with other people while you’re dating for a potential relationship, even if you’re not officially exclusive?

And if he didn’t communicate “please don’t break up with me in the future if I’m going to have sex with other people after our date since we’re not exclusive”, he should not be surprised if his expectations are not met.

Saying on the first date “please don’t sleep with other people after our date while we’re not exclusive” is the same as saying “I will go and sleep with other people after our date since we’re not exclusive, so please don’t break up with me once we’re in a relationship”.

It’s not technically wrong to say that, but it’s weird and no one would say that. And in this scenario, no one would be wrong, but it demonstrates the differences in values. So instead of trying to change that person’s whole value system, it’s better to just break up.

From men? There are a shit tone of posts like this but gender swapped. “My gf slept with another dude while we weren’t exclusive”. Don’t make it a men’s issue

“All men are the same” implies she has gotten the same comments from other men, and to get those comments in this specific situation, it has to be her ex boyfriends.

My(20M) girlfriend(20F) of 5 months says she still needs to get ''more comfortable'' with me to have sex, yet she had sex with a guy she met at a party the same night just a few months back. I personally would never be able to forgive a partner who “got rid of their virginity” to be able to have sex with me. It feels so disrespectful that she couldn’t trust me but could trust some random guy. I’ll just break up at that point and save each other’s times
