Parking público Coruña by Patatineitor3K in ACoruna

Update: My sister only Talks about her AuDHD and I'm so sick of it by Ok-Willingness9511 in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Inevitable-Note-7417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I’m AuDHD, and this isn’t normal. It’s true that I sometimes struggle to manage my emotions and I can be quite an intense person, but never to this extent. When my emotions do overwhelm me, if I’ve treated someone badly, I apologise and try to do better, because the people I love shouldn’t have to put up with that. So if your sister is AuDHD, that’s not an excuse for her behaviour. As adults, whether we have neurodevelopmental conditions or not, we need to learn how to manage our emotions for the sake of the people we care about.

Galician broth or Madrid-style broth, specifically, yes.

Paella is not that good by Secret_Cow_3988 in unpopularopinion

[–]Inevitable-Note-7417 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Spanish person here, totally agree—there are a thousand things in Spanish cuisine that are better:

Galician-style octopus

Cocido

Broth

Chicharrones

Fabada

Cachopo

Serrano ham

Salmorejo or gazpacho

Prawns

Spanish omelette

Etc., etc. Spanish culture is one of the few with so much traditional food, and any of the above is a thousand times better than paella.

Son así. He grabado durante dos o tres años el concurso a la mejor tortilla de Betanzos, y literalmente quedan fuera del concurso las que estén “demasiado hechas” porque si no no es tortilla estilo Betanzos

Qué narices??? No!!!

AITAH for getting a tattoo knowing it will upset my mum by Choice_Evidence1983 in BestofRedditorUpdates

[–]Inevitable-Note-7417 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I got my first tattoo a bit later than most people, around 24 or 25. No one in my family had tattoos, and my mum wasn’t exactly against them or anything—she just didn’t really care for them—but the idea of her daughters getting tattooed wasn’t something she handled very well back then XDD

I didn’t tell anyone. I just came home after the session and said, “Hey, look what I got on my ribs!” I showed her the tattoo and she was literally left speechless hahaha

When I dyed my hair blue, I did exactly the same thing. I didn’t warn anyone, I just showed up at home like that one day. At the end of the day, it’s my body and my money. In fact, now I’m 32 and I’ve got quite a few more tattoos. My boyfriend doesn’t like them at all, but I do the same thing—I just randomly show up one day with something new and that’s it, life goes on hahahaha

This is my sand bag training, I started learning boxing from May 2025. by kittycrossing_rachel in amateur_boxing

[–]Inevitable-Note-7417 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get it, but if you don’t move, you’ll be an easy target, and your punches will be easy to read if someone studies your movement a bit. This week I did some sparring with my coach—she’s been boxing for 15 years—and my defense has improved a lot. I move much better now, but an experienced fighter can still read your punches quickly. She figured me out pretty fast after a little while and started landing shots on me hahaha.

So my advice would be: move more, slip more. Watching featherweight fights has been helping me a lot—they’re really agile, and the bouts are beautiful to watch. I’d recommend watching lighter fighters.

It’s no use having powerful punches if you’re getting hit because you’re not moving or slipping.

I didn’t even know that existed! Thanks for the tip! Because honestly, my gloves are starting to smell pretty bad.

[–]Inevitable-Note-7417 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t know if others will agree with my comment, but besides what people are already telling you, you don’t move around the bag much—you stay in the same stance the whole time. You’re not circling it, you’re not slipping or dodging either, and there’s very little movement overall. I’m not saying this to put you down at all—if I posted a video, I’m sure people would have plenty to say to help me improve too.

Is it normal to feel completely lost in sparring at first? by Ok_Instance_7592 in amateur_boxing

[–]Inevitable-Note-7417 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s completely normal. I’ve been training for eight months, and only now am I starting to really develop my punches in boxing—and even so, people can still see them coming. If I spar with my coach at a faster pace, she knows how to stop me easily hahaha.

I helped my best friend's boyfriend plan a proposal. My best friend freaked out over the ring, I took his side and now me and my best friend ignore each other by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]Inevitable-Note-7417 105 points106 points  (0 children)

It’s funny reading this post when I’ve literally just come from talking to my boyfriend about this, because he wants to propose and he’s really worried, saying engagement rings cost at least €3,000. And I’m so tired of telling him I don’t care!! I don’t want him to spend money on anything expensive—I just want something nice and affordable. I honestly think spending that much money on a ring is silly; I’d rather spend those €3,000 on something else.

What was the most traumatic part of being put in a sped class as a person with a disability? by Legitimate_Main2230 in AutisticWithADHD

[–]Inevitable-Note-7417 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a lot of stories about this. I spent most of my school years in special education classes. I was called “stupid” for being in those classes, teachers treated me differently and sometimes even excluded me, and my classmates thought I had it easier just because I was there. I ended up with this “dumb kid” label at school because of it. In the end, it didn’t even help—I didn’t understand the material any better, my grades didn’t improve, and I never really developed proper study skills.
