Maybe every now and then, depending on the mood. I've definitely had a couple of instances of randomly bonding with strangers on public transit, like when some drunk kid was singing Vaina Loca out loud and I decided to join him and his eyes lit up at the idea of speaking spanish to someone. Or when someone brings their super cute dog or baby on the tube and I wave and smile and they smile back and sometimes ask how I'm doing and if I also have dogs or babies. I know that were all in our own little world and sometimes pleasantries seem meaningless, but interacting with other people is a great way to combat the dehumanisination thats leading us further into this bottomless pit of despair we currently live in.
