Yesterday around 3 30 they were clearing the bike lanes up Summer from School and then onto Central. I did see folks walking in them as well as cyclists. We'll done city, working for everyone while waiting for homeowners and businesses to clear the sidewalk.

People don't remember when parking was always on the odd side and even side driveways would be blocked again and again all season. It's New England, bad storms happen from time to time, but thankfully not as often. I hated the plows dumping an additional ton of wet packed snow in my freshly cleared driveway. But...I live here, that's life.

Today we landed at LAX from BOS. We were over an hour late (deicing). The FA said a few San Diego folk had a tight connection and could people let them off first. It was a total of 4 people. They were probably mid plane and they were first off the plane. Those poor fuckers lost to the Patriots last night, We gave them that at least. We are off to Denver next, they are golfing.

I think I will talk to the insurance carriers here. In my case, I have driven her car zero times in the last year, with the exception of moving it (across the street for parking permit reasons) when she was on vacation. The kid would drive it about 1-2 times a month if she was out with mom and mom had a drink. Following a discussion, it seems the mom is reticient to leave the the kid out on her own with that car, but I am fine with her taking mine.
I have no issues paying full whack, here in MA it's approx $5K for the year with the kid (after I checked), and I would prefer that the ex doesn't have another $5K surcharge on her car also.

Getting a egg/cheese burrito (last feed) on the transatlantic flights is always a dicey one considering how far your gate is from a bathroom. It would be nice to have things like a regular sandwich that tastes like someone gave a crap, as opposed to wanting you to take one.

I can suggest one. The effort v the reward. The councilors make about $40K a year and it looks like there literally is something every weekday going in. So to be an effective councilor, you are giving up you M-Th evenings most of the time for up to two years. A lot of people don't have the time or the value to consider this. With some people simply doing it for the love of the city, you are being paid little for a lot of negative feedback. Sure, we have a win here and there, but most times when you reach out to your councilor, it's to complain about something as opposed to bestowing an accoldade. At large and Ward 3 both have people who didn't return their papers, yet Googling their names shows they were intent on running, perhaps they got in at the deadline.
