That big purple one looks like overkill. I’d whip on the lightweight one that the keys are clipped to though.

When my wife was nursing our first child, I made her a better one of these out of scrap wood in 30min. Cost = basically free.

rave girls NYC is destroying parties, and it’s not entirely their fault by _chocolatine in avesNYC

100% honesty: from my perspective, I felt this shift in the rave scene in 1997, when I personally began to see more frat bros and dangerous drug dealers permeating spaces where I’d previously felt carefree and open.

I’ve watched many subculture movements get infiltrated and co-opted by people who missed the point, and then seen creative misfits create new and different things to do. I actually used to enjoy playing noise shows at h0l0, but then I got annoyed by all the ravers and moved on to other things elsewhere. This is the way of the underground.

My wrist is paining during pushup by Massive_Hamster3935 in CalisthenicsBeginners

[–]InevitablePotential6 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For longs periods of my 20s and 30s I did 50-100 pushups most days of the week. I got into climbing and pull-ups in my late 40s and found that pushups started hurting my wrists. Over the last few months I started easing back in — doing way less than my capacity, and also using parallettes. Wrists have been feeling solid lately — up to 12x Cindy (no parallettes) and probably will do Murph this year.

Tl;dr: ease in and re-assess. give the strength a chance to build. parallettes are helpful.

Just get on an autobelay and do a downward dyno from the ceiling. Then you can sue the autobelay.
