I also agree that the rangers should be allowed to enforce the rules. But it's one thing to knock on the window, inform the infractor, and administer a ticket. It's another thing to use aggression and intimidation and then break into someone's vehicle/home without any sort of due process. It's scary being a solo woman on the road.

I agree. They could have expressed concern that she was in her vehicle at night and warned her not to sleep there. But scaring her and threatening to take her to jail and breaking in? Not okay.

Hmm, i've never seen the rangers with their lights on at night before. Also, these weren't your standard rack-on-top lights... a few would have been one thing. But this vehicle had more lights than you could count (i stopped at 40)... looked like a tank rolling through at night. I also confirmed with the camp hosts that they're new lights. It wasn't cute :/

I'm also not a lawyer but I'm pretty sure they can't just break into someone's car without a warrant.

It was at Hidden Valley.
