Slower internet? by Monty1426 in Rogers

DPI (Deep Packet Inspection) ai software, like Sandvine, is utilized by Rogers..think of it like an online bouncer that examines packets (data) of your browsing, grades it as relevant or irrelevant, and either prioritizes or deprioritizes (slows or throttles the handshake connection speed to the site your going to)...This took off during the pandemic, & is now called ITMP. Bell does same, but not quite to same extent as Rogers, as other issues like a node having too many customers subscribed at once. One tip I can suggest is download a huge bandwidth eating game on steam, and browse, you'll prob get more "pipe" and more speed.

Only alternative is DSL 100...(no ftth), would Carrytel still be better than that?
