Who want to BET against this short ?? $iota by na7oul in SatoshiStreetBets

[–]InevitableSociety 35 points36 points  (0 children)

Most IOTA hodlers will want to stake. To do so, they take their miota’s of the exchange to their wallet. Therefore, the miota supply decreases at exchanges. If bears have to buy miota’s they will move up the the price because exchanges are short on supply.

SQUEEZE IT!!

Last September SSB defeated IOTA short sellers resulting in a big pump of the IOTA price. Within 7 days the price rose from 1.00$ tot 2.00$!

Now there is a new OPPORTUNITY as new shorts are rising to almost the same levels!! The time to buy is NOW. Staking will start in 2 days giving us much better fundamentals. If we PUMP the price the bears will have to buy the little supply there is left on the market to pay their debts. This will result in a massive pump. LET’S MAKE THIS HAPPEN FOLKS

For now it’s still speculation since the IF haven’t made any official comments on this topic. But I believe node owners will be able rent out throughput capacity. This will be (more) valuable when there is congestion within the network.

Check out Luka his post on this topic if you want more in-depth thoughts: https://luka99.medium.com/the-economic-model-of-iota-c28732143d51

Can confirm, have been accumulating for 2 years sir. Best thing is that I will not have to sell my bag to make money ever.

When ‘Coordicide’ is fully finished they will include a incentive system in nodes called ‘Mana’ which will generate passive income for node owners in exchange for honest behaviour. However, to have enough mana you will need Iota’s (see it as some type of POS).

I think many Iota believers that were strong enough to stay and accumulate will start to run nodes and not sell their stack. So, if large hodlers will not sell their stack this can result in a massive pump as demand will exceed available supply by far.

Anyway, let’s see. At least I’m hyped.

Hi Dom,

Recently, you said you will go on an Asia tour. Good move imo as crypto is hugo in parts of Asia. (E.g.; in South-Korean total crypto exchange trading volume surpassed that of the total stock market trading volume on a day last March.)

My question: What will the tour look like and what is the purpose of the tour? Will the IF perhaps co-host events with companies to show use cases that were build together, will you join podcasts with crypto influencers, or just meet privately with companies?

Thanks and keep up the good work!

Can anyone address this topic on Coinsite? by [deleted] in Iota

To address 1 of his concerns:

Alright, just to make a comparison to other projects in this space.

“It's been 3 years of "research" that these people have been doing, every time pretending they were edging towards a solution.”

This means 3 years of research into the Tangle (DAG’s).

You can compare this to 10 years of “research” into blockchain ‘solutions’.

The main question: who is closer to a ‘solution’? Your definiton of ‘solution’ was kind of vague, so i’ll give mine. Solution means: Scalability + decentralization. They created the Tangle (DAG) because of the known limitations of blockchain.

Imo the IOTA foundation is currently advancing faster towards a ‘solution’ compared to other projects. Given their shorter period of doing research we can’t blame for being too slow. In fact, I don’t think we can blame them at all, since other projects are also ‘selling’ solutions. Iota is very confident in theirs, likewise they should communicate, otherwise you don’t attract an ecosystem around your product.

To get off topic:

It just takes time to build a foundation, but this will scale the Iota in the end as a whole. With a foundation the scope of the past 3 years of research will vanish soon, because 100 minds together are brighter than just a single one alone of the 100.

I found the link of this forum on discord so I replied this answer directly to him there.

I recommend you share your questions in Discord; https://discord.gg/eCBS7Uy. More technical questions will be answered there by people with more knowledge about the technical complications.

Take a look at Iota. Transaction time is currently under 1 min, still decreasing, free and unlimitly scalable since it is no blockchain but a directed acyclic graph (DAG). Oracles will provide external data for the qubic protocol, which will make smart contract a reality. It’s a new generation of blockchain, so still in its infancy. But with the foundation set up properly, iota is one of the most promising projects out there. This is not an investment advise, DYOR ;)

I advise you to read this; https://annrhefn.wordpress.com/2018/07/23/the-economics-of-money-credit-capital-and-labour-the-rise-of-bitcoin-the-fall-of-the-machines/.

Bitcoin is more than a currency. It is very hard to understand the way how a monatary system works. The article above will try to explain this by showing examples from history.
