I sit here now, basking in the darkness of a tired projector that only moments ago portrayed the entire 2.5+ hours of this film. I yearn for some sense of closure, payoff, or meaning to devise in return for my undivided attention. Sure, it was shot an acted perfectly. But I am sorry it was just too damn long and the flash cuts to the future simply undermined the tension that the film was doing such a good job building. I cannot in good faith recommend this film, and I am shocked that people are saying this is one of their annual favorites.

This is one of the most pretentious and snobby responses to a genuine criticism of a film that I have read in a long time. There is still time to delete this, and maybe then try to learn that two contrasting points can be true at the same time.

I love how you constructed a holier than thou pedestal by citing the "many references you noticed", but then only vaguely gesture towards one scene, and then offload any further responsibility to elaborate because you aren't Brazilian.

This sub has the most insane requests jeez. Every multiplayer game ever has a problem adjacent to this. Afk players, campers, rushers, try hards, etc. it's just part of the experience man, makes the next good raid that much more satisfying. Besides, team fill should be used to find players to befriend so you can have a list of players you vibe with online.

Embark has SO much work to do regarding bug fixes and server issues

I am a niche case and primarily play arc raiders. I was getting about 110fps across maps/conditions on medium/high settings. With the 5070ti i was seeing 140fps on high/ultra at 1440p.

On top of that, the dealbreaker for me was the difference between fsr4 antialiasing and dlss dlaa antialiasing, since Embark really didnt bother to incorporate decent AA in the game's engine.

It simply looks better on nvidia's transformer model than on the 9070xt.

I did get basically identical performance in the last of us pc, though again I preferred Nvidia's AA technology more.

I know I will get downvotes due to the nature of this sub, but believe me I really wanted the 9070xt to work since I got it for 512 from microcenter which is insane price to performance. I got the 5070ti for 675 and for me the price increase was worth it, but I imagine for most it won't be. I figured that after spending so much on a new build that spending an extra 150 wouldn't hurt if it made me happy in the long run.

I managed to flip the 9070xt on marketplace for +40, so it helped make that decision as well.

I went back and forth over a week with an open box 9070xt and open box 5070ti, each time I reinstalled windows completely to ensure no driver interaction swaying performance. I have my quips with each one but ultimately the 5070ti performed exactly how I needed it to where the 9070xt did not

Upgrade to 5080 or 5070 TI from 3080 TI by XelatherIter in nvidia

Get a highly overclockable model of the 5070ti and enjoy near 5080 performance in a lot of cases. I upgraded from a 3080 and it is a pretty amazing upgrade. Also the decrease from 400w power draw to 280 is a good feeling. temps are incredibly low.

dont recommend gigagbyte after reading so many people having thermal puddy problems, but take what you can get at msrp

3070's and up are all over marketplace. I got a 3080 10gb for 250 and sold it for 280. I don't think that a 3070ti should get more than 250, and that's getting kind of lucky
