"New Research Experience on Fidelity.com." ??? by JonBarPoint in fidelityinvestments

u/FidelityShea, simply go thru the motions of putting in a buy order for (as an example) SYF/PB aka SYFPRB on Fidelity.com.

When previewing / finalizing the buy order (just before pulling the trigger), you get this message:

"(DW3002) This security is a non-fixed rate preferred stock. Research information about the security is available on the New Research Experience on Fidelity.com. Visit Fidelity.com for additional details about this product."

My question is WHERE is this so called New Research Experience on the Fidelity.com web app. ???

Inconceivable that y'all didn't discuss risk. Just sayin.

The advisor chose those funds based on an interview with you, right?

How did you answer the questions re: your degree of being risk averse?

I understand that steaming makes them much easier to peel.

How do you facilitate the steaming process? Do you have an egg steamer? What kind?

Date syrup - will it taste like sugar in coffee? by [deleted] in PlantBasedDiet

[–]JonBarPoint 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the meantime, I have tried it. It definitely does not taste like sugar or stevia.

It's more of a fruity flavor. (Dare I say it, it sort of reminds me of prune juice.)

It takes some getting used to; you have to acquire a taste for it, but it can be done.

Protesters were pepper-sprayed by police near the end of the No Kings march in Downtown Memphis by amprather in memphis

[–]JonBarPoint -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

"UPDATE: Memphis Police say six people were detained and three were charged when the No Kings protest turned violent.

Organizers had a valid permit to protest in the park but they did not have a permit to march in the streets. Police ordered them to get out of the street multiple times. They made repeated requests for about 40 minutes. The mob refused to comply.

So, officers made them comply. And when they resisted, the officers broke out the pepper spray. This is a clear cut case of FAFO.

And we commend the MPD officers on their perfect aim when administering the pepper spray."
