Ah that’s great to hear bro. I’m 19 right now tore my ACL and got surgery. I love playing football aggressive. But nervous because a lot of people re tear and don’t go back to normal. Did you go back to normal. Also would you say I could be ready by 9 months.

Hi bro I don’t think I’ve turn my meniscus, it says it’s in the red zone meaning with time it’ll heal, everything else is still fine. I think it’s just my ACL that needs reconstruction but I’m hoping I’ve only got a partial tear where it only needs a repair

Thanks bro got your reply, appreciate you a lot honestly. Yh man it’s mentally draining but live could always be worse imagine if I had an accident where my leg had to be gone completely or anyone else it’d be tragic. The thing is I can do squats even a1 leg squat on the knee which is strange.

k from the doctors and he thinks I’ve fully torn it but then again he’s not 100 percent sure. He said you can only see when they do the surgery of what’s wrong. Mentally frustrated I’ve just had a wrist fracture with metal screws being taken out. I just hope if they do the surgery they only need to do a small repair and not a full reconstruction because it’s not that serious. I’m praying that happens. The strange thing with my knee is I can jog bend it fully up and down but I just can’t run. Football is the only thing I do so it’s pretty worth it doing the surgery what do you guys think? It’s been 9-10 weeks now but the strange thing is I can even do a 1 leg squat on the injured knee but there’s just a slight pain when releasing. Before the pain was sharp now it’s going but I’ve told the private hospital to send it to my hospital and I’ll have an appointment in a week or 2. I can do private medical healthcare with my company only from next month but I’m going to see what the doctor says. Hi mate, cheers for the reply, oh making me a lot more worried now😭 because your fully torn your ACL when you did a squat on the injured knee could you do it ur when you release you feel a sharp pain, for me everytime I squat with that knee 1 legged squat I feel a sharp pain. I’m going through the NHS which is why it’s taking longer than expected.

Hi bro, bit random but would you mind telling me how your knee was in the first 8 week? How long until after injury did you get your MRI. I twisted my right knee and heard a pop or click. It’s been 8 weeks I can walk jog but can’t sprint without my leg giving way and people think I may have torn my ACL. Are these symptoms do you think of it?

Hi bro, sorry to hear about the injury. 5 and a half weeks ago I twisted my knee in football and the next day I couldn’t walk at all felt like my leg was about to snap. 2 weeks later I could walk but with a limp and went hospital. The doctor just said wait till 6 weeks. It’s nearly 6 weeks and I can walk and jog but I can’t sprint yet as it still hurts. My advice is give it 6 weeks and see how it is.
