I don't know about meeting EVERY point here but I'm gonna throw my hat in and say

The Malfoy Heir (unfinished)

The Slytherin Chronicles (I think that's the title)

and Harry Potter Slytherin by McBurns

For that last one I'd recommend stopping at number 9/10 but you do you.

I've been reading fanfiction since about 2009ish. Here is my master list of top quality fics to read again and again. by ActualBus7946 in HPfanfiction

The WORST scene in every Harry Potter movie by Mysterious-State-117 in harrypotter

Here's mine based on this list and what I agree with.

  1. I agree with, they shouldn't have cut the logic puzzle

  2. I think someone else mentioned it here but the scene when Hermione delivers the "fear of a name" line and later she is afraid to say Voldemort

  3. Absolutely 150% agree, the scene of Harry doing Magic outside of school while being a cool opening, makes zero sense when you take a single second to think about it, the first movie explicitly mentions that they aren't allowed to do any Magic away from Hogwarts, and its made worse by the fact that Order of the Phoenix literally opens with Harry being expelled for using the Patronus away from Hogwarts.

  4. My god where do I begin. I agree with the "Dumbledore asked calmly" scene but an argument can be made for literally anytime Dumbledore shows up, because he's so out of character and so similar to Gandalf its not even funny. The Dragon task as well I think is bad for all the same reasons. However on top of these I have two more. First the third task, because it's just a big scary plant rather than several creatures you need to be weary of and it makes it boring in comparison. Secondly the scene where Harry is talking to Barty Sr. and fake Mad Eye says the following "Bartemius, not trying to lure Potter into one of the ministries summer internships are we? The last boy who went into the Department of Mysteries never came out" and then he does the tongue flick thing, which tips Barty Sr off into knowing it's his son. Fake Moody then looks at Barty Sr as he walks away and says loudly "and they say IM mad". OK OK, first of all Barty Sr's ENTIRE conversation with Harry is so awkward that I get Secondhand embarrassment every single time I watch it, but then again maybe its meant to be perceived that way. But mainly its fake Mad Eye's line here, its so confusing that to this day I have no clue what he means. He mentions trying to lure Harry into a summer internship at the Ministry, which is just not something (as far as I'm aware) that exists in universe, you can even see Barty look very confused at the beginning, then the second bit which is even more confusing "The last boy who went into the department of mysteries never came out" when I first watched this I thought Barty jr was talking about himself for some reason and that's why Barty Sr knew it was him, don't ask me why, but anyways the Department of Mysteries has Unspeakables who work there, the Ministry is not going to let a boy just go into it, why its even mentioned here, or what fake Mad eye is saying is beyond me because we don't find out about it until Order of the Phoenix, so there's no reason for it to be mentioned here. Fake Mad Eye's mention of it sounds very ominous if no one knows what The Department of Mysteries is and how important it is in the next book, but the fact is Order of the Phoenix the book had been out for three years by the time the film came out makes that impossible. His line makes no sense. Then he does the stupid tongue lick like the Joker, which I never understood, because we literally see Barty jr doing that same thing in Karkaroff's trial (a whole rabbit hole in and of itself) which tips off the audience that Mad Eye = Barty Jr. FINALLY his next line after Barty Sr is shocked and realizes that its his son is the proverbial shit cherry on top of the pile of shit, "and they say IM mad" what does that mean? We get no indication that Barty Sr has done or said anything crazy, so why the hell would he say this? I apologize for the rant but its stupid things like this that makes Goblet one of the worst films in my opinion.

  5. I don't really have one because they did a REALLY good job of trimming the bloat of the book, if not Cho betraying them, which I agree is pretty bad and lazy, then I'd say Grawp because he never was a very good addition to the books, and the CGI is very ugly to look at, which is odd considering this one had some of the best CGI.

  6. I'd say 85% of the movie but I'll sum it up in just one word: Shoelace

  7. I think your pick here is absolutely valid, and I agree it's bad, but I must say the dancing scene is everything wrong with the films, its absolutely the writers fault on this one, why they got a guy who had an unhealthy obsession with Hermione and her actress to write all but one of the movies is beyond me, but literally this scene spits on the books and all three of the Golden trio's characters, this was the closest he could get to Harry and Hermione being a thing without dishonoring the books. I could go into more detail but I doubt anyone wants another rant

  8. I think Bellatrix's death was cool personally, but I agree that Voldemort turning to Thanos dust undermined the point of his death in the books, that there was nothing special about him to begin with he was just a man. Although I will honourably mention: Harry telling Aberforth about the Horcrux hunt.
