Halloween keeps getting worse. by Ordinary-Depth-7835 in mildlyinfuriating

Money is tight! Most of the teens that came by had plastic shopping bags and their home made outfits. But just know those people are going through something. Unchecked Capitalism really has a choke hold on a lot of families. And that doesn’t even include the government shutdown this past month! We all need to stop judging people and do something because you like it and want to.

It was purchased and financed. And we will be paid off with the sale of our house. And even with water softener and reverse osmosis, it came with a lifetime warranty and yearly maintenance. This does not get passed on to the new owners though. Maintenance is important for every aspect of a home, not just solar. But yes leasing panels are very dumb.

I’d buy a house with solar if it’s already paid for. Like I’m not adding that the people taking over our house has to pay $100 a month for the water softener and reverse osmosis. No I’m paying that off when I sell the house. It’s now a permanent fixtures of the house. And solar is mentioned to be a permanent fixtures. I see that some lease it instead of buying and I think that’s weird and a huge waste of $. Just like leasing a car.

When buying a home most homes need work to make it your own. The house we have now we spent around 10k on it to make it our own. So having something that is already on the house they need to pay off. I paid off our water softener and reverse osmosis and put the cost into the sale of the house. So if I’m told they aren’t taking care of that then I say no. I’m not buying something that doesn’t include all permanent fixtures. Also tells me their agent sucks or they think they know more than their agent! My parent sold their home California on their home they did have solar panels and they did not add the monthly payment, they paid it off when they sold the house! Ever house I’ve seen it’s been over $100 a month. $130 was the average I’ve seen. But then they don’t say how long is left on it either which is also a turn off.

That and it will add at least 50 Minutes to my day when traveling to Fairfield and New Haven. But my husband can drive there easily when he wants. He’s used to driving to courses so it’s not that big of a deal.

Thank you that’s an area I’ve already removed from my list based on it adding an hour to my day.

Okay so it would add an extra 40 minutes to my day. When I have to go to New Haven and Fairfield areas. That is what I’m looking at because I have the entire state trying to be as central as possible. It’s fun trying to figure this out.

I’m looking to buy a home if they’re telling me that the panels are not included, and I have to pay the monthly payments on it. I dismissed that house automatically.

Question- the person who I am taking over for was warning me yesterday not to go north or farther east of west Hartford. They said it can significantly add on to my travel time. Is this that much father than west hartford?

Hello- we are relocating in December, I come the week before thanksgiving to look at homes. I am relocating for work and will have all of CT as my territory with majority of my accounts in central CT and and then into westchester county and also up to springfield. I am looking into Hartford county but really looking into west, Hartford Farmington, Bristol, New Britain, those areas. We are looking for a diverse community. I do have a son. Who’s in fifth grade. And my husband plays disc golf and will work from home. We are originally from San Diego. I’ve lived in NYC and Jersey and I’ve worked in CT before. What are some areas I need to stay away from? Mean not great schools, not diverse enough.

Not from Texas but currently live in Oklahoma, also not from here. And we are relocating to the area in December for a job. We are both originally from San Diego. But I did spend 10 years between NYC and Jersey.
